22-11-2024We read all the reviews of this vacuum. The number one complaint was the battery not lasting. That is why we chose to buy the extended warranty. We use the vacuum in our car and it does a better job then the ones you pay for at car washes. It’s wonderful for quick pick ups around the house and especially nice to vacuum furniture and under cushions.

> 3 dayThis same product was around 40 buck a year and a half ago - corporate greed! The battery is NOT replaceable, of course, so more plastic junk in the landfills. So, we have greed plus corporate irresponsibility. What a terrible company Black & Decker has become.

Greater than one weekI purchased the vacuum after much research and I was not disappointed! Overall, I am incredibly happy with the product but here are a few things to consider before buying them yourself: Pros: It looks very sleek. It looks really good on its charging port as well! I dont mind displaying out in the open. It also is quite compact when stored in its charging dock which is a plus. Its suction is great! I think that was the number one thing that I was looking for in a hand held vacuum as ones in the past had issues with this. Cons: The one gripe I have with this vacuum and for you to consider is that its actually a little awkward using it. The head is a lot shorter than it looks in the picture and it makes it awkward to hold for some reason. Its probably more of my own preference than anything but something to consider. ***update*** Ive had this product for several months now and it is still working great!!! Suction still works great, battery life is good and its cleaned up quite a bit of mess for us in the last few month. But, there is one more thing for the buyer to consider that I noticed with more use. There is a rubber lip inside that prevents anything sucked into the vacuum from coming out. It works great for that purpose. But, one continuous issue I am having is bigger particles getting stuck in-between the lip and the filter. There isnt a whole lot of space between them and anything bigger than dust will get stuck there. When I go to dump the mess in the trash, I often have to reach in there and pick out whatever is wedged in there. Not a deal breaker by any means, but nevertheless an annoyance for you to consider. ***update*** Recently, after having the product for about 6 months, the hinge on my vacuum broke. I recently read a review that indicated the same issue. For the overall good quality of the rest of the vacuum, this plastic hinge for the door is a little disappointing. We have used it daily, so by no means has the vacuum been handled with delicacy. BUT, who has time to treat their vacuum delicately! It just needs to work to clean up all of those messes your kids make! I could not find any way to contact costumer service on Amazon so decided to go to their website directly. Their website is not the easiest to navigate and finding the contact information too a few minutes but once I put in my request, I received a response within a few days. They did not have any spare parts or had any solutions for a fix but they were able to send me a replacement unit for free of charge. I know Amazon has you buy a 2 year warranty but I saw on the Black and Decker website that the two year warranty was included in the purchase. Not sure if it does not apply to the batch on Amazon but I have a hard time seeing black and decker not honoring the warranty. I dont know if I was covered or they were being nice, but I do appreciate the good customer service! So if you have a similar issue and your vacuum is less than 2 years old, try contacting them directly about the issue. Besides the hinge, this is still a great vacuum.

Greater than one weekVery convenient, youll need a chopstick or something to free lint balls from inside the filter. Not a big deal. Hopefully the battery lasts because theres no way to swap in a new battery.

Greater than one weekLittle hand held vacuum is so powerful; the lifetime of the product and battery life and charge are amazing. I had the previous model for 10+ years it didn’t brake my son dropped it and the collection bin cracked…it’s still working but glued it and use for my garage know. So,I got a new one for indoor. Overall the best. I did compare different ones before repurchase and none stand up to the suction power. Would love if they made a pet hair attachment for it!! If so none on the market could stand up to it.

> 3 dayVery sturdy. I use it often to get cats fur all over the house. It works well even on some carpet spots. Its noisy, but thats not a problem for me. I prefer a stronger vacuum than a silent one. The only thing is that I wish the battery could last longer.

> 3 dayNever having owned a small handheld vacuum before, I guess it’s OK. It does have an awful high pitched sound and its narrow opening makes for cleaning the stairs an annoying long task. It’s good for a few crumps in the kitchen or some hair on the bathroom floor. OK for the car seats but not strong enough for the floors. Certainly not good for dog hair. Would I buy it again? NO

> 3 dayI purchased this last August and had a problem with it recently. I contacted their representative and they took my information and promptly sent me a replacement with no questions asked. I really like this for my small apartment and recommend their products.
