> 3 dayI have another hand vacuum from the same brand, but do not like it nearly half as much as I love this one. This hand vacuum is an amazing size, you can fold the nozzle when you are finished for space purposes. It is easy to charge. The charger is not huge. The suction is amazing easy cleaning. Nothing to install. I use this hand vacuum mostly to clean my sofas. It is extremely durable.

> 3 dayIm so disgusted with handheld vacs! I would have loved this one to have 2 levels of power but it is pretty strong on suction. The most frustration feature was trying to pull the Crevice tool out and the killing yourself getting it put back in place! I worked on it for over 45 mins and my husband took a look at it and figured it out, pulling front part of crevice tool out while pushing down on the end of it where the lines are. pretty hard to do but it is doable, even for a 76 yr old. like the compart size, sturdiness. Its better than the Shark I had...

> 3 daylight and portable, yet powerful enough to suck up cobwebs, dust bunnies, crumbs, stray litter, bits of debris, etc. ive used this around the house, in the car, and anywhere i need to clean without being tethered by an electrical cord or the larger standard upright or canister type. the pivoting nozzle is extendable to get into nooks and crannies, able to lock into the position needed. the flip up brush on the nozzle is good for softer surfaces such as upholstery or drapes. i found the nozzle great for use in corners where stair treads meet risers, or on clean up the top of shelf up high. the first button on the handle releases the nozzle so that it can be pivoted to the position necessary. the second button is a slider that powers on the unit on or off. engage the pivoting nozzle until it is against the units body to make it compact and ready for its charging base. the powered charging bases plastic seems flimsy compared to the vacuums heavy duty plastic, but its sufficient to cradle the vacuum for charging. the base can be set on the counter, table or floor, or mounted on the wall with the included mounting screws. a dim blue led light flashes slowly when the unit is docked into its charging base. upon being fully charged, the led discontinues illuminating to indicate it is ready. when the vacuum is in use, the led illuminates steadily for on. when the vacuum starts to run out of charge during use, the led flashes quickly as a warning before all the power is discharged. first time charging can take up to 4 hours with subsequent charging time seeming to be less than that. this isnt meant to replace corded units ability to run non-stop. this limited amount of time on a battery-based product is sufficient for on and off use while doing a quick cleanup. continuous usage running time may vary. approximately 15 minutes is my best time thus far. a lot of small factors impact how long it can run continuously, such as suctioning effort, operating temperature, how much debris is collected, etc. the pivots cylindrical dirt chamber opens easily for emptying of collected debris. my favorite feature is that the nozzle and cylindrical dirt chamber unit is removable for a thorough washing. push the side button on the nozzle, and the assembly releases from the body of the vacuum. a removable and washable pre-filter and filter is inside the chamber and the filter itself is replaceable. i personally like washable filters due to their reuse ability. thats why i also have a dyson upright. the dirt chamber has an internal rubber flap where the nozzle joins it, which helps trap debris from falling back out the nozzle. this is perfect for when you use the unit to suck up pesky insects or food items, and you dont want them to escape back out should the unit be powered off. the black and silver color scheme is attractive enough should this unit be left in view while charging instead of hidden away. according to the instructions, the lithium battery can be removed. obtaining a replacement 20-volt lithium battery might be possible when available.

Greater than one weekI wanted to wait several weeks before writing a review to see how it would hold up or honestly how much I would even use it. I never even considered getting one until I was housesitting for a lady with several cats. As I was tidying up daily I realized how handy it was not to have to drag out the vacuum two or three times a day. So I decided to break down and get one myself. She had another model (that was way beyond my price range) so I did a bit of research and have always had good luck with Black & Decker products so decided to give this one a go. I had no idea that I would be using this thing several times every day to get into those little cracks and crevices, to clean up after my own pets instead of having to drag out the vacuum. So convenient, so handy, so lightweight. Suction power is great…. not comparable to an upright vacuum of course but it’s handheld so you can’t expect that. but for furniture, for carpet, for quick around the litter box cleanups, for dogs with muddy feet and for clumsy kitchen spills (nothing wet) this thing is awesome! For the price point I really was not expecting a product this good. And I love that I do not have to keep the button pressed down while in use. The pricier model I used while housesitting you have to have the button continually compressed and my hand cramped up quickly. I have to use this thing for a solid 15 minutes to even notice any fatigue in my hand and I don’t have the youngest hands in the world…. If you were looking for a hand held vacuum for quick, frequent cleanups. For me, this one is hard to beat! Sidenote, as stated above do not suck up anything wet! You will have to disassemble and clean the filters and then let them dry completely before using again. But it does state very clearly it is designed to vacuum dry things only. There is a little flat where the suction tube meets the chamber and sometimes little things can get stuck in there but was able to get out with a wooden skewer very very easily. Small price to pay. Very happy with this purchase

Greater than one weekOver the last decades, I have had many manual vacuums...starting with corded ones and on to battery-powered ones. I chose this one after expertly reviewing customers reviews. I agree with most favorable assessments: this is a good handheld vacuum. I like the filter set-up for cleaning, and I especially like the sucking force! Unfortunately, the head/mouth of the device is such that it is too close to the ground so particles as high as 2-3mm are passed over. There is plenty of suction power to get them but the vacuum mouth has no way to lead them in . You just have to raise the vacuum to get them in on the 2nd or 3rd pass. Otherwise a well-working product worth its extra cost for the power.

> 3 dayWhen it comes to a cleaning appliance, definitely dont try to skimp on the price of a good hand vacuum. I use this to pick up dirt and leaves in my car, along with nooks and crannies in our house that are difficult to get to. It works really well and theres a visible difference within seconds (as there should be with a good quality vacuum!) Black + Decker knew what they were doing with this.

> 3 dayThis handheld vacuum is a compact and versatile option for anyone in need of a handheld vacuum. While it does have some positive features, it also has some drawbacks to consider. On the positive side, this handheld vacuum is lightweight and easy to maneuver, making it great for quick cleanups around the house or in the car. It also has a strong suction power that does a decent job of picking up small debris like crumbs, pet hair, and dust. The crevice tool and brush attachment are also handy for reaching tight spaces and upholstery. However, the battery life is not great. It only lasts for around 10-15 minutes on a single charge, which may not be enough for larger cleaning tasks. Additionally, the dustbin is small and needs to be emptied frequently, which can be inconvenient. Another issue with this handheld vacuum is the noise level. It is quite loud, which can be irritating if you need to use it for an extended period of time. This vacuum is a decent option for small cleanups: The strong suction power and handy attachments are positives, but the short battery life and loud noise level may be a dealbreaker for some users.

> 3 daySince this unit is one-hand held, weight and hand position when vacuuming are really important. Being able to move the nozzle makes it much easier to hold the unit at the best angle for comfort of use. You dont have to lift your arm or elbow at odd angles, so the weight of the vacuum isnt as difficult to manage.

> 3 dayThis hand held vacuum seems to work well. Love it for small jobs in the house so much faster than dragging out the big vacuum or broom. My only concern is that I dont think it holds the charge as long as inthink it should. It is compact which is great but I have noticed that even if I only use it for a very short period of time ( a coule of minutes), the light goes on for it to charge.
