> 24 hourDear parent, you are reading this review, so you most likely are in a different boat than what you may have expected when you first welcomed your bundle of joy into your life. To overshare the appreciation we have for this product and its very accurate name, we have a child on the spectrum. Elopement is a description of a trait some of individuals on the Autism spectrum possess which can cause them to run off at any time, any place, in any direction in what has to be the most dangerous way possible to the childs well being. With zero exaggeration, this causes nightmares and grey hair to any parent trying so hard to catch their child who is running into the street in front of an approaching vehicle. Even with careful planning and doing everything possible to keep your child safe, there is always a very real risk that a simple trip to the grocery store is going to end badly. This harness is miracle of reassurance. Its easily large enough to accommodate a child in the 45-50 lb range. Everyones hands are still free to pick things up, practice holding hands in public, or give the child a small bit of freedom to choose to walk next to you without feeling physically forced. Will this harness prevent all problems? No. The elopement is still there, but what it does buy in a chance to snag a child back, closer to you, and/or use your own weight to stop them when they are overtaken a literal flight of fancy. The only complaint I could say is that its very easy for the child to perhaps figure out the locking mechanism and how the keys work in it. However, the keys are attached on the parent wrist side, so unless you have a master pickpocket worthy of being in the cast of Oliver, you should be ok. A personal tip I have for those living in cold climates is to put the harness on under the childs coat so they cant wriggle out of it, and then run the strap through a sleeve or similar. Do not feel shame when people give you the why are you walking your child like a dog? facial expression. You are saving your loved ones (and probably yourself) from a very traumatic trip to the emergency room, and theres nothing wrong with that. Just be careful not to get yourself hilariously caught on a street sign. Also, given that the design looks more serious and less cute animal, people tend to subconsciously accept it as medically necessary and less unreasonable fashion choice. Overall, five stars. Makes trips to the store less terrifying. And the blue is a nice color.

> 24 hourThis works well for keeping my wild child from getting into campfires and dangerous places without hurting her or causing her to fall down in front of everyone. She still has the freedom to walk on her own without being able to completely leave my side. Definitely a must have for taking a rowdy independent toddler out to an event or public gathering.

> 24 hourGot this item for vacation as my 2 year old loves to explore but want to make sure she stays in a safe range in busy areas (zoo, aquarium, malls, etc) The harness on the tightest setting was too lose but still used it. She is 33” tall and 28lbs. Will be good when she is older but still works.

> 24 hourGreat leash for wrangling a feisty toddler who wants to walk when he/she should really be riding..we keep this in our diaper bag and can use whenever our almost 2 year old wants to walk through a store/park and resists the stroller. Great purchase, and very durable.

> 24 hourI took my 15 month old to Washington DC on vacation. He is super active and doesn’t do well confined to a stroller for long periods. He also is very friendly and doesn’t know a stranger. For my peace of mind and sanity I bought this and it was absolutely PERFECT. He had all the freedom he needed without me worrying about him running off, getting into something he shouldn’t, or God forbid- getting grabbed. Would buy it again in a heartbeat and will be using it all summer at various parades, parks, events, etc.

> 24 hourGreat purchase. I love being able to take my toddler outside places and let him have able to walk without worrying about him running away or getting snatched. One of my favorite purchases. I use it to go on walks, at the mall, zoo, and around the yard. My toddler doesnt mind it, he is 1.5 years old. Will definitely be taking this along with the stroller on all outings.

> 24 hourMy baby is 1 year old and walking everywhere, except where I need her to go. Although this product works, it also wraps around her easily. The other day it was loosely around her neck, but thats not the products fault. As a parent, I need to have the best pair of eagle eyes possible, when it comes to my baby. The pads on the shoulders also seem a bit loose, they easily slide up and down. But its really cool that theres keys attached to the parents cuff to lock and unlock the buckle so my little munchkin cant get out of it on her own.
