> 3 dayThis worked great for a year and now is slowly dying. I’d look elsewhere or wait for an upgraded model.

> 3 dayI bought the RM4 Pro for an awning remote. It learns IR control well and works well. I try to use an RF control but it doesnt work. The RM4 learns the RF but will not send it when to the Sunsetter Awning.

> 3 dayI had a fairly easy time setting it up. It is compact and comes with a mounting plate. However, the integration with Alexa for devices like TV and Set-top boxes is limited to the point that it really can just turn devices on and off. Integration with Alexa routines is limited. Comes with a sensor cable to report temperature and humidity. Even that isnt supported in an Alexa routine. I would consider keeping it as a learning remote that is accessible via my phone. However, the phone app for button layout is also limited. You cant have a single layout on the phone with buttons that combine TV and the set-top box. The button layouts are static and not configurable; you cant move change the layout nor add/remove buttons. Unused buttons are still displayed. If you touch the unassigned buttons it requests that you assign a IR code to them. You can only assign IR codes to them. You cannot assign a series of IR codes to a single button to let say turn on the TV and set-top box together. As such, even as a configurable learning remote it falls seriously short.

> 3 dayI bought this to control the ceiling fan of 1st floor. Wow, it’s fantastic because it worked with another ceiling fan of 2nd floor too. I realized I don’t need to buy another one for 2nd floor. The remote learning feature was straightforward too. I’m very satisfied with this device.

> 3 dayI got this to control my fans in my living room. Was not able to match the RF from remote. Returned. The software seemed a bit rough on the edges but I think cound be a great product for the right person.

> 3 dayI returned mine because I was missing my return window with Amazon... its not there yet. I had issues with my smart shades after the Shade Store decided to remove the app from the Play Store for their first gen hubs. I was able to control the shades and it automatically discovered up or raising of the shades but not lowering them. Another issue I had was with my X-finity receiver. It discovered the receiver correctly (you have multiple templates to choose from) and I chose the one that had everything including the channel numbers but were greyed out. The channel numbers which were grayed out indicating that they may or may not work and recommendation is to manually add them. The funny thing is, manual adding failed for the greyed out channel numbers worked perfectly! I could not use the greyed out numbers through Alexa etc.

> 3 dayIt took a couple of attempts to get it paired with my phone. But once I got it set, it was easy to add items and I had it integrated with Alexa and SmartThings in less than 20 minutes. Customer support was quite helpful when I was having a minor problem with the power cable which was operator error.
