Awesome for the job site. It’s very quiet and pretty light. The square style base doesn’t flip over in back of the truck. It’s quiet enough that I can be having a conversation while it’s running. It’s is made for finish guns, and if needed probably a few shots with the framer would max it out, but man is it quiet compared to an older makita I wore out. I will replace my larger compressor when it dies with the bigger one just because of how quiet it is.

Very impressed with this unit. Arrived a day sooner than scheduled and was well packaged. Much quieter than expected. Held 120lbs pressure overnight and no leaks. Good value for the price and would recommend to others. Very satisfied with this purchase.

It really is quiet, compared to others. I love it. For me, it is a little heavy. I can move it around the garage with ease, but it I need to take it somewhere else, I put it in my utility wagon. It recovers quickly for my needs. I mainly use it to blow the dust out of my car, or off something I am going to paint.

Bought as a replacement for my Senco nailer used for trim work. This unit is considerably heavier and a litlle larger. Seems to put out more air. Love it.

Great little compressor super quite, recovery time is quick. I was sold under the claim that most compressors have a 500 hr. Life expectency and this one is claimed to have a 3000 hr. run time expectency, that sold me and have seen first hand small compressors lasting far less than 500 hrs. I did have a problem with the control nob for the air pressure adjustment being plastic and easily can be twisted to far and easily broken or snap off could have splurged a little and integrated the knob n a safer location or made this a bit more durable. I would recommend to any one who uses small Power Tools such as finish nailers. Portable air system, or any small compressor job. Ive yet to try this with a framing nailer but would be interested to see how it holds up. Has anyone tried it with a framing nailer? And how did it hold up?

I purchased this because it was supposed quite, compact and only weigh 29lbs. It is quiet once you put the filter on it, it is not 29lbs the ship weight shown on the label is 36lbs. The product description shows 29lbs then if you scroll down and read all the details it discloses the unit weighs 34lbs. Id say its between 34-36lbs which is my first reason for 4 stars. It builds pressure quietly and quickly. My second reason for 4 stars because the first one I was shipped was used and must have been a return. The box was taped over about 4 different times and one of the rubber feet on it was split. Im annoyed by this since I had to box it all back up and waste my time taking it to a UPS store and wait for another to be delivered. Amazon sent me another no charge, it was brand new never opened this time. The hose connection fitting on the replacement leaks air when a hose is not attached which is my 3rd reason for 4 stars. I did contact California tools and they replied promptly the part is in the mail. I appreciate them stepping up and making right. Overall I am happy with the performance of such a small compressor.

This compressor was packaged extremely well and arrive undamaged. (Actually 1 day earlier than expected). I’ve tested it under heavy load for 2 days straight with no issues. Yes it has to fill up the small tank often but does so quicker than any other brand I’ve ever seen. I’ve been a professional Mechanic for over 25 years and have dealt with many air compressors, this one is amazing for its size and output. As for the loudness of the unit... just as described. Very, very quiet. I plan on buying the largest one this company makes for my shop. I hope the quality of this small unit carries over to a larger one.

Seems like a decent product. Relatively quiet. Wish that I could get more psi out of it as I mainly use it for bicycle tires which generally require 100 psi plus and the tank pressure has to fall pretty far before the compressor starts up again.

If you need an air compressor for airbrushing, this unit is for you - it is very nice and quiet, even when seated right beside you. The air pressure is steady thanks to the 1Gallon tank - which is made of aluminum - so no worries about water corrosion. The pressure gauge is large enough for you to dial the pressure from 10 psi upwards. Based on what I have read on the web, the only “gotcha” is you need to turn the unit off from the switch lever - NOT just unplug it. Doing so may require a reset of the unit - which is a small black button behind the panel. Being a 1 gallon tank, it will kick off quite a bit with heavy airbrushing, but it is so quiet, you won’t even care. Save your hearing, get this unit.

The self locking fitting leaked if the air hose wasn’t plugged in. Called and left message to service department about it, never heard from anyone. (Part of the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5). Replaced it with a high flow fitting and it easily removed lawn mower blades on a 54 inch deck commercial mower. It also slammed 3 inch framing nails easily.The other part of the 4 star instead of 5 star review is durability. Time will tell, I’m just an occasional user. Nice little , real quiet compressor With An add on air tank, this little guy could preform big jobs.
