> 3 dayOverall the compressor is great. Quiet and well designed. However the one I received had some assembly issues. Three out of the four motor to frame mounting nuts were loose. I wouldnt have noticed them but when I was initially running it for the first time one of the nuts completely fell off. The handle set screws were loose. Also the air filter housing was bent into an oval making it difficult to access the filter. Again good compressor but some quality control issues that need to be addressed.

> 3 dayI have used air compressors in a commercial capacity for decades, now - all brands, all makes. California air compressor makes the best, by far! And, this one (4710SQ) only pulls 7.7 amps while cycling. I have a larger version and a smaller version, also pictured. I work in a lot of RV parks and I get no complaints, at all. FYI, the smaller version 1P1060S is a must for any one that has an RV, for sure

> 3 dayIt would be nice if it had 2 wheels on the back for easy moving around the garage, other than that, product is perfect

> 3 dayBought compressor 4 month ago and have used it about 15 times. Very quiet as advertised. Has as much power as I need. So far, absolutely no problems. I did add the wheels just to make it a bit easier on me to move about.

Greater than one weekQuality feels incredible, and is a lot quieter then I was expecting. After turning it on in my living room with the rest of the family opening presents for Christmas, we were all floored how low the noise level was. I hope to edit this review with longevity details as I start using it. ******* update ******** I’ve had my California Air Tool compressor for 3/4 of a year now. My 2020 spring and summer (quarantine) were full of projects. This compressor has been smooth running the whole time. Neighbors and family have all asked to borrow it because of how quiet it is. None of the projects were slowed because the compressor took to long to recharge. So far I’ve used micronpin nailers, Staplers, and 18g Brad nailers. I’m hoping to do my roof and shed next summer, and I’ll need to update again.

> 3 dayThe quiet setting is as advertised - purrrrrrrrrrs. This is really great. I have a Portal Cable 1 gal comp and it was so freaking noisey!! It pumped out a meager .2 cfm. This 4.7 gal comp puts out 2 cfm at 90 psi x 10 times more.. For the size, this a good!

> 3 dayIts a compressor; you know what it does. The only question is how loud it is, and Id equate it to a newer garage door or maybe a washing machine. Something that does not cause you to raise your voice in a conversation at all. Perfect for my garage!

> 3 dayWhere was this machine all my life? If all I needed was to keep my tires inflated I’d probably still buy this. A pneumatic nail gun prompted me to buy this. I never know if something this inexpensive is just a Chinese knock-off or a safe, well-built machine. Time will tell, but so far I’m living the whisper quiet operation and solid construction. It weighs a bit much, so I’ll likely put it on wheels. UPDATE 2022: I have somehow made excuses to buy pneumatic tools just because of the great compressor. I made it sound near silent in the original review. It’s not. But relative to its peers there is no comparison. I did have a part failure that took some work and really thread compound to replace successfully. Not expensive though. And I’d still buy this again.

> 3 dayArrived in working condition. Attach the rubber feet booties, the air filter tube, and you’re set. I’ve only been doing light work / nail gun, but just happy to report it works as intended. Also- the tank fills pretty fast, less than a minute.

> 3 dayIt is so good that I bought one for my son, for the company where I works and one for me, forget about nosy compressor
