> 3 dayQuality feels incredible, and is a lot quieter then I was expecting. After turning it on in my living room with the rest of the family opening presents for Christmas, we were all floored how low the noise level was. I hope to edit this review with longevity details as I start using it. ******* update ******** I’ve had my California Air Tool compressor for 3/4 of a year now. My 2020 spring and summer (quarantine) were full of projects. This compressor has been smooth running the whole time. Neighbors and family have all asked to borrow it because of how quiet it is. None of the projects were slowed because the compressor took to long to recharge. So far I’ve used micronpin nailers, Staplers, and 18g Brad nailers. I’m hoping to do my roof and shed next summer, and I’ll need to update again.

> 3 dayMy compressor arrived on time and in good condition. I’m pleased with the overall construction and fits nicely under my work bench. The unit is very quiet as advertised. I use it primarily for servicing my automotive and utility vehicle tires to witch it is we’ll suited. Overall I feel it’s a good value for the money.

> 3 dayOverall the compressor is great. Quiet and well designed. However the one I received had some assembly issues. Three out of the four motor to frame mounting nuts were loose. I wouldnt have noticed them but when I was initially running it for the first time one of the nuts completely fell off. The handle set screws were loose. Also the air filter housing was bent into an oval making it difficult to access the filter. Again good compressor but some quality control issues that need to be addressed.

> 3 dayThe noise level really is quite nice. I’m not speaking scientifically, but the noise of the compressor itself pales in comparison to using a small attachment for cleaning out crevices. In other words, blasting dust out of a car seat cushion or door jamb *feels* about 4 times as loud as the noise of the compressor recharging its pressure. I also like being able to adjust the output pressure down to basically 0 psi. On the downside: The recharge span is factory locked to 30psi. This means you can have the compressor kick on at 90psi and stop at 120psi, or kick on at, say, 40psi and stop at 70psi, but you can’t drain the tank all the way down to 10psi and have it charge all the way back to 120psi. I would’ve liked to use something like the latter to slowly bubble some air through a bucket of compost tea without the compressor kicking in every hour. A bit of labeling stickers would be nice too; the manual is fairly complicated.

> 3 dayThis compressor is very quiet and actually is not that big. It makes plenty of air for my needs including blowing up tires, some air tools and air brushing. I did not want a large bulky and noisy compressor and this one is just right. I am sure it would easily run air nailers, pop rivet guns, air operated grease gun and other small volume air tools.

Greater than one weekI replaced my Porter Cable Pancake Compressor because I got tired of the noise. This is super quiet. It seems to hold up well for general compressor tools, airbrush and stapler/ brad nailer. Compact and not too heavy. Good purchase and a pretty fair price. If youre wondering just how quiet this compressor is you will be pleasantly surprised.

> 3 dayQuiet as compressor go; leak-free. Good warranty. Top shroud to air filter interference - had to enlarge the slot slightly.
