Great printer with the ability to buy cheap ink for it. Prints pictures beautifully. Im an artist and even make great prints on canvas on it.

You cant go wrong with these little printers if you need a little a printer that will produce economically. Would be a great printer for a kids computer.

The printer never worked correctly, it jams after printing one or two pages - If I havent waited too long, I would be happy to return it for $40.00 (less than half of what I paid for it)

Easy to set up and install. Nice picture and print. Great printer for the price. Only thing lacking is a paper tray.

This is a great printer at any price. The print quality is good and you can even print photos if you want. The ink cartridges are inexpensive, especially if you go with remanufactured, and overall, the printer is a great value. The only bad part is that the printer does not have an output tray, but dont let that stop you from buying this printer because it is truly a great value.

Canon really laid an egg when they flew this turkey to the market. When you click on that print button, go have a cup of coffee, take a nap, watch TV for awhile. Your print job *may* have printed by the time you return, but probably not, because 1)the Pixma cant find the paper in the feed tray (its there), 2)the colored ink tank is low (its not), 3) the black ink tank is low (it wasnt) 4)the paper is jammed (how can it be, when Pixma cant find the paper in the tray?). Hit print again, and it *might* eventually print your report, but more likely it wont because the ink tanks have dried up waiting for you to clear all the other errors. What a piece of junk! Absolutely positively the worst printer I have ever owned or used, bar none, and Ive worked with many. Theres a hundred different software utilities and options to figure out, none of them help with anything at all, and they just add to the level of frustration. Instead of giving us all this useless software, just give us a printer that prints, Canon!

It arrived with black ink all over it and after replacing the cartrdiges it would not install but kept saying a cartridge was not installed correctly and when I would check all was as should be. I am donating to a charity for someone else to try to get to work.

IT WORKED GOOD FOR AWHILE AND THEN IT STOPPED PRINTING. IT WOULD GO THROUGH THE MOTIONS BUT WITH NOTHING ON THE PAGE, i TOOK THE PRINT HEAD OUT AND CLEANED IT THOROUGHLY WITH ALCOHOL. IT WAS PRETTY DIRTY. I PUT IT AND THE CARTRIDGES BACK IN AND NOW I GET A PRINT ERROR THAT THE PRINT HEAD IS INAPPROPRIATE FOR USE. HELL FIRE, I JUST PULLED IT OUT OF THE PRINTER. I SEE A LOT OF PEOPLE ON THE INTERNET WHO ARE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM, THANK YOU ROBERT D. SMITH

Have been using this printer for the past 6 months. Absolutely no problems. I should admit that i have *not* printed photos with this, but i know the cartridges for this model are cheap. Prints fast, good quality print.I use this often and did not have any paper jams. A good product for the price. I would say go for it

It seems Ive had this for years. I buy the generic brand of ink from 123inkjets dot com and have had great success. Just for printing, as Ive never tried professional photos.
