> 3 dayI used to have a S300.It worked great and its really cost effective. That why I bought this one last week. However, this new one gets paper jamed easily, and sometimes it just fails to feed the paper in but still sends paper jamed message.( I used the the HP 21 pounds papers bought with the printer). I am considering to return it, does anyone has the same experience? How to fix it?

> 3 dayI got this printer as part of a bundle with a new computer. I was using an Epson at the time and the cost of ink cartridges was driving me up the wall! One day, the Epson died a terrible death and I pulled the Canon Pixma iP500 out of the closet, plugged it in, the computer recognized it immediately and its been printing happily ever since. This is a very decent printer for around $50.00. Ive not printed any photos with it. But for plain paper printing of documents, it works just fine in a home office or for a student. And others here have printed photos and say they look great. So the long and short of it is if you just need a basic printer that will print out fine looking plain paper documents and apparently does a decent job of photos too, consider the Canon Pixma iP1500.

> 3 dayI bought this printer because it was fast and inexpensive, and have been pleasantly surprised at its superior quality. Its extremely user-friendly with easy load and learn software, prints wondrously fast, and the quality is outstanding. The cartridges are inexpensive and readily available. The photo print quality is superior to many more expensive models. Highly recommend!

> 3 dayYep, I had the same problem with the error message that there was a paper jam. There was NO paper jam. It stopped feeding paper so we just bought another one. Cant for the life of me figure out what the problem is. Not worth trying to get repaired since it will probably cost $50 just for someone to look at it!

> 3 dayIT WORKED GOOD FOR AWHILE AND THEN IT STOPPED PRINTING. IT WOULD GO THROUGH THE MOTIONS BUT WITH NOTHING ON THE PAGE, i TOOK THE PRINT HEAD OUT AND CLEANED IT THOROUGHLY WITH ALCOHOL. IT WAS PRETTY DIRTY. I PUT IT AND THE CARTRIDGES BACK IN AND NOW I GET A PRINT ERROR THAT THE PRINT HEAD IS INAPPROPRIATE FOR USE. HELL FIRE, I JUST PULLED IT OUT OF THE PRINTER. I SEE A LOT OF PEOPLE ON THE INTERNET WHO ARE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM, THANK YOU ROBERT D. SMITH

> 3 dayThis is the best printer for us. We use a xp desktop to put the printer and are able to print wirelessly after sharing on our Network. And the ink I can buy for it is cheap! This is about my 5th one! It came new in the box and shipped fast!

> 3 dayThe printer was actually free after rebate with a desktop PC from Frys. I gave it 4 stars because while its great for the average Joe to print photos from the Canon Easy-Photoprint application, Im having a lot of issues getting it to print from any other application, i.e. Adobe Photoshop 7. Granted, Ive only used the drivers from the included cd, and havent spent a huge amount of time troubleshooting, but it ought to work out of the box. I also have a hard time with getting it to grab the paper after I load it. This may be an isolated problem, as Ive seen no other reviewer mention it. Regardless, its been quite handy to print last minute pictures for scrapbooking (when printing in bulk I use Snapfish). The pictures have been bright, clear, and scrapbook quality. For free, I really cant complain.
