These came in a plastic bag with holes punched in it. Carbon filters degrade when exposed to air. All the other brands I have purchased come sealed in plastic for storage until opened. I dont think Ill purchase this brand again, because there is no indicator that the filters are fresh when they arrive.

The HEPA filters can be expensive and this little layer not only removes any odors from the air but acts as a prefilter for dust. This is a multi pack and you simply peal off the old one (best done outside) and then stick the new one on using the velcro strips.

The filter is a great way to extend the life of my HEPA filter. Right after the 4th of July I checked the carbon pre-filter on my air purifier. The particulate matter from all the fireworks near my home had really coated the old carbon pre-filter. It was great to be able to quickly change just that bit to extend the life of my HEPA filter. Its sill important to regularly change the actual HEPA filter, but I feel that changing the charcoal pre-filter really does help to extend it for a short time

Was able to cut to fit to replace filters from my old air purifier that became unavailable. Works good.

They fot a little snug but definitely work.

I have two of the Pure Guardian AC4825 Purifiers and change the carbon filters in them about once every 3 months. This 4 pack is perfect and fits without any problems or cutting. The price is also a lot better than buying the Pure Guardian ones.

It’s super subjective to rate a filter without a control point. It might work. Didn’t die yet, so it’s alright.

These were supposed to come with the other part of the filter for the air purifier!! I even asked if thats all i needed and I was told yes!!! The box part that the black filter is supposed to go on you never said i needed that as well!!! Now I have these black filters but the box part is missing!!! Thats not right at all!!!
