Carbon Activated Pre-Filter 4-pack for use with the Germ Guardian FLT4825 HEPA Filter, AC4800 Series, Filter B By Complete Filtration Services

These came in a plastic bag with holes punched in it. Carbon filters degrade when exposed to air. All the other brands I have purchased come sealed in plastic for storage until opened. I dont think Ill purchase this brand again, because there is no indicator that the filters are fresh when they arrive.

I honestly didnt even know what these were when I got them. Now I know they make my filter last 4x longer. Nothing touched the filter with these pre-filters properly installed and changed regularly.

These are your basic charcoal filters. You do have to cut them to fit. I used them as a replacement for my air filter instead of the much more expensive ones. I change mine at least every few months. Not sure how long these will last, well see, but they are the same filters I used on my old Hepa filter and they did the job.

Works great in the air filtration unit but cannot be blown clean or washed. Must be replaced. So in the long run may be a little pricey

Just what I needed

I bought this filters to replace my AC4825 filters but I’m truly disappointed. First of all the quality is very low and the red light on my filter keeps blinking instead of resetting to green. On the product description, it says that it should work for this unit but it does not. I’ve had to put black tape on the blinking light. I don’t know if the blinking light will damage the system. If anyone knows how I can fix this problem, please let me know. Thanks.

I use this 24 hours a day

Work amazingly well and killing odors - even cat box odors. Once you the the filters - keep in mind you can cut them to fit other brands and sizes of air filters. I easily placed one in a brand of air cleaner that is no longer made - works great!

This is the best value for the pre-filters Ive found.
