Carbon Activated Pre-Filter 4-pack for use with the Germ Guardian FLT4825 HEPA Filter, AC4800 Series, Filter B By Complete Filtration Services

I just changed my pre-filter after 3-4 months of use. I changed it based on time rather than a change in machine operation. It was extremely dirty; it looks like it did its job well. It protected the more expensive HEPA filter. Will buy more when needed.

This is my second order of these pre-filters. They work every time and always arrive undamaged and ready to use. I used to blow them off and keep reusing the same one but, for this price. Ill just keep buying fresh ones. These seem identical to the OEM ones but, way cheaper.

Should come in a roll and then you cut to height. The 1/4 inch mesh pr-filter was the right width but each was about 1/2 the height needed to fit on my primary filter. (took two). It would be nice also if they included a roll of double-sided 1/4 inch adhesive to adhere the pr-carbon mesh filter to the primary filter. Had to use some I had on hand.

I recently purchased a replacement HEPA filter for my GermGuardian and didnt realize that it also came with a carbon activated pre-filter, so I also ordered this 4 pack. The quality is the same as the one that came with the GermGuardian branded HEPA filter, although the sizing was a bit different. I do not think I would have a problem fitting this into the GermGuardian, but they are also easily altered simply by cutting them with a scissors. As I had 4 more carbon filters than I needed for a while, I used two of them for another separate air conditioner; I cut the filters to fit and inserted them behind the mesh filter in front of the rear air intake, effectively adding an additional filter where there was none from the factory. As the air conditioner runs 24/7 in the summer, I now had the added benefit of extra air/odor filtration, and the room smelled noticeably crisper. These filters will work for your GermGuardian and are a good value, but be aware they can also be reconfigured for other applications where you might need a carbon filter. I even saw a picture on a website of someone who had attached them to the rear of an oscillating fan to help with filtration! Excellent for multipurpose use.

I have two of the Pure Guardian AC4825 Purifiers and change the carbon filters in them about once every 3 months. This 4 pack is perfect and fits without any problems or cutting. The price is also a lot better than buying the Pure Guardian ones.

I bought this to go with the filter that it lists in the title but I had to cut it to fit the filter. Not completely compatible

I developed a late in life allergy to my cats. So I bought two air purifiers that have filters. As we know, filters are ridiculously expensive. The air filters I bought came with these carbon covers so I immediately ordered this box of 4. I would say I change them every 6-8 weeks (at minimum) and so far I have been able to keep the filter clean enough that I have not had to change it yet!
