> 3 dayThis is by far my favorite solder for a variety of reason first it is leaded this is a good sign as a lot of lead free solders have a high reputation of making cold joints. Next it is great because it uses great flux even if i got some oil from my fingers onto some of the joints i NEVER had a cold solder joint using this solder. It also is a Eutectic mix this means that it has a very low melting point compared to other solders and that all the metals in it are at least 99.99% pure. This solder also has both silver and copper in it and to anyone who knows how conductive those metals are would point out they are the 2 most conductive metals out of any other it is still mainly tin and lead but this is a nice touch for audiophile connections. Overall i would say this is the best solder Ive ever used. But keep in mind that it is leaded so you should work with it in a well ventilated area or with a fume extractor. Also keep in mind that it does use rosin flux which means you should get a flux cleaner if you dont want your circuit board covered in the flux residue.

> 3 dayThis solder is amazing, I used this to join a connection of 2/0 battery cables, and this did the job very well. I was pleased at the rather low temp this solder flowed into the center of the connection. And how well the the joint looked after it cooled. Cleaned up very well and allowed the heat shrink tubing to lay nicely over the connection. I will always make sure to have some of this on hand.

> 3 dayGood product, but rosin smell is unpleasant to me. Will probably go back to Wonder Solder.

> 3 dayI really wanted to like this solder since most of what I do is geared towards audio. I design and build class-D amplifiers and speaker systems and like the idea of using silver solder. I have used Radio Shack silver bearing solder for years and it has been my go-to silver solder for audio and surface mount work. This solder behaves very much like lead-free solder even though it is labeled as having lead content. It really doesnt want to stick to anything, even the soldering iron tip, and just beads up into a ball and falls off the solder wire. It even has trouble soaking into fluxed de-soldering braid. I cant really recommend this solder but for best results use higher heat and a LOT of flux.

> 3 dayThis solder is pretty expensive but is very high quality. It melts/flows very well. A bit smokier than Im used to with other solders so be sure youre in a well ventilated space.

> 3 dayI grew up in the 50s and 60s and took Electronics Shop in High School and did projects before that so Ive spent countless hours with a soldering gun or iron in my hands. Im used to old school solder and had some worries that newer stuff would be difficult. Its not. This solder performs extremely well. Some of that is possibly due to a decent soldering station, but even on a cheap throwaway gun it handles just fine.

> 3 dayThis is top notch. You may find better and I would ask that you post your response if you do.
