Greater than one weekPros: Excellent solder found that it melted the best at 350 degrees. I used it mainly for through hole soldering and had very few problems. Flows very smoothly. The silver content is high enough that it conducts very well. This solder reworks extremely well had a couple of fowl ups and had no issue fixing them, Cons: There was a lot of shrink wrap holding the solder together and it took forever to remove. Something that i noticed but was not an issue was the amount of flux that the solder contains internally not terrible just more then i was used to.

Greater than one weekJust the right weight for work from medium to fine. This solder really is better and it tins and flows more easily than any other Ive used in 20+ years of pro and hobby soldering. Great stuff, worth every penny if you value a quality and aesthetically pleasing solder joint.

> 3 dayI use this solder exclusively on the high end studio and audiophile audio cables I assemble in the shop. While I dont know that I believe it improves audio quality, its far easier to work with than normal solder, saves me time in production (especially when its high volume), and creates very strong joints that resist corrosion. My understanding is it will improve corrosion resistance long term, and it seems to. Ive also never had a failed joint with this solder, on any of the thousands of cables I made (and some musicians are very abusive to cables). So while Ill use Multicore solder for my electronics prototyping and Kester for regular jobs, anything really important strength- and signal- wise usually gets Cardas. And its made here in Oregon, which I love.

> 3 dayThis is the best silver solder Ive ever worked with. Normally silver solder is tricky since it doesnt flow or stick as easy as typical lead solder. But this works very nice. I also enjoy the thin size so you can easily position it up and over items. It has an odor to it that is unlike any other solder. Its hard to explain... maybe if you were to mix metal and a strawberry together.

> 3 dayThis has to be the best solder Ive used hands down. Im used to lead free solders and the high temps needed, and while lead free has its place, when it comes to component soldering on a pcb, this stuff is the best.

23-11-2024Ive used multiple brands/types of solder, and this is my favorite so far. Ive used it on guitar pedals, reel to reel machines, guitars, amps, and even small SMD work. It works great! great bondage with a shiny end result every time. Would recommend 100%

> 3 dayNow I have no clue if it really performs better than any other solder but it makes me feel warm and fuzzy knowing I used a fancy name brand. It physically solders very well and even a nonprofessional weekend warrior like myself can make beautiful connections.
