> 3 dayDa bomb! Great solder and surprisingly decent price compared to similar quality solder such as kestler, considering that the Cardas brand usually comes with a silly audiophile premium price. It’s very thin, but if you need thicker just twist it together into a thicker braid.

> 3 dayThis has to be the best solder Ive used hands down. Im used to lead free solders and the high temps needed, and while lead free has its place, when it comes to component soldering on a pcb, this stuff is the best.

> 3 dayThis is top grade solder. It flows very well and is very nice to use. Properly done joints all have a mirror finish.

Greater than one weekJust the right weight for work from medium to fine. This solder really is better and it tins and flows more easily than any other Ive used in 20+ years of pro and hobby soldering. Great stuff, worth every penny if you value a quality and aesthetically pleasing solder joint.

Greater than one weekOne of the best solders to use as it has a low melting point

21-11-2024Great solder for high quality audio electronics. The solder flowed very well and I didnt seem to have any cold joint issues with it. I actually preferred it to the Kester 60/40 I was using prior to it.

> 3 dayA friend turned me on to Cardas solder when I began building my own microphone preamps for my recording console. The solder that you use is part of the signal chain and an important factor in these types of builds so I wanted top notch solder and I got it. It came very quickly and after my first use i was really impressed! You cant go wrong with Cardas. Its the best in my opinion. Money well spent!
