> 3 dayI bought this backpack to replace the third backpack that Ive bought in a two year time frame. Carhartt is known for their product quality and already having some of their products, I bought it. I have to say that I was not disappointed when it arrived. Its made froma nice tough material and its well put together.

> 3 dayThis backpack is truly wonderful. I am a graduate student and often bike to class. This backpack is able to hold my computer in sleeve, multiple notebooks, lunch box, and any other random items I need for the day. I love all of the different pockets to keep all of my belongings organized. My only complaint is that it would be nice to have 2 zippers on the front pockets - you need to be extra careful that nothing falls out. Also, the front straps are really wide which is uncomfortable if you are petite or busty. However, it seems that the straps are softening with use which is helping.

> 3 dayI use this backpack for school and I LOVE IT! I love how neutral the color is and how durable the design is. I have a 15.6 laptop and it fits the laptop with extra space. The front pocket has a ton of compartments for pencils and a keychain holder. My only improvement would be the comfort of the straps, but otherwise, a great bag.

> 3 dayI really like this backpack. So far whenever I drop any water on it, it doesnt leak through! It doesnt have too many pockets and things, but just the perfect amount to organize things for school, work, and travel. I used it while studying abroad in Costa Rica and it still is in great shape. It kind of gives me dad vibes because my dad had a similarly sized backpack but other than that it looks pretty nice. Hes a little chunkier looking than I would prefer but thats what keeps it in good shape.

Greater than one weekIm a contractor. I know Carhartt makes some good outdoor work clothing, so I thought Id give this bag a try for my sons high school book bag. (Most dont last!). This one is not made of the same material as their jackets and work overalls. Its a type of fabric that Im -hoping- will hold up, but looks like the type of fabric Ive seen fail in other applications. Its way too early to tell. Its also not as big as Id expected. It seems like a comfortable, reasonably well laid out backpack, but honestly, nothing special, and not quite what Id expected from Carhartt. It looks kinda like a cheaper woven nylon pack, in Carhartt tan, with their logo sewn on. Hope Im wrong. Im not trying to bash it, just giving an honest, straight forward review.

> 3 dayStraps are kindof stiff and awkward and I wish it had more pockets. Zippers are so stiff and hard to open without both hands. Its strong and sleek, though. Overall pretty happy with it since its admittedly very hard to find a perfect backpack.

> 3 dayFantastic, heavy duty and well built. The straps are well padded and distribute the weight of a heavy bag well. I fit 3 books, a binder, notebook, lap top, pencil bag, charger, and headphones in. There was still plenty of room for my wallet, keys, a lunch bag and another large book. Room for water bottles on the side pockets. Last semester the weight of my books killed my shoulders and the straps eventually started tearing. With a similar load this semester, my shoulders barely notice the weight. The zippers are heavy duty, it’s well constructed and I’m counting on this backpack to last. Another bonus is that it’s not enormous on my back. I wouldn’t call it “minimalist” but it’s also not bulky or tacky.

> 3 dayStylish and good amount of space. It is a tiny bit small depending what you carry. Overall solid purchase
