> 3 dayPretty bummed that this back pack lasted about a month before my husband started dealing with the inner lining falling apart and we aren’t sure as to why the strings are like this.

Greater than one weekFantastic, heavy duty and well built. The straps are well padded and distribute the weight of a heavy bag well. I fit 3 books, a binder, notebook, lap top, pencil bag, charger, and headphones in. There was still plenty of room for my wallet, keys, a lunch bag and another large book. Room for water bottles on the side pockets. Last semester the weight of my books killed my shoulders and the straps eventually started tearing. With a similar load this semester, my shoulders barely notice the weight. The zippers are heavy duty, it’s well constructed and I’m counting on this backpack to last. Another bonus is that it’s not enormous on my back. I wouldn’t call it “minimalist” but it’s also not bulky or tacky.

> 3 dayI had been trying to find a book bag that wouldn’t make carrying items hurt my shoulders. I’m a college student who has to carry around notebooks, laptop, tablet, water etc. I got it today and wore it off to class as well. It was so comfortable it didn’t feel too rough, hard or too too new if that makes sense. It’s just really so comfortable. The laptop pouch is amazing, it actually is able to hold my laptop and have a strap keep it in place! It can also easily carry my 1L water bottle, it’s a chunky water bottle! Lastly the material is good, well done and good stitching. Overall I’d say it’s worth the money and it’s definitely going to last me for a while.

18-11-2024I’ve had this backpack since the beginning of 2022 I use it everyday very good shoulder support love the pockets. Holds so much I carry a laptop, some notebooks, my essentials, and etc. everything fits. Best backpack I’ve ever gotten for school!

> 3 dayWithout regard to other attributes -- which are strong, though not quite worth the price -- the single-zipper front pocket configuration is an obvious flaw, and makes this pack unsuitable for travelers and others. For example, if the pocket zippers arent completely closed, small items are very likely to fall out of the side. Further, with only one zipper you cannot partially open the pockets from the top, perhaps for one-handed access. Theres nothing to be done about this, its just a design flaw -- and a lesson learned (by me) of what not to buy.

> 3 dayIve not really tested the water resistance of it because weve not been in the rain, but it gets muddy when my fiances used it & none of the moisture from the mud has seeped in. Its alot bigger then you would think, like depth wise. It can hold alot more then I originally thought it would! Its very sturdy & made well

> 3 dayIm a contractor. I know Carhartt makes some good outdoor work clothing, so I thought Id give this bag a try for my sons high school book bag. (Most dont last!). This one is not made of the same material as their jackets and work overalls. Its a type of fabric that Im -hoping- will hold up, but looks like the type of fabric Ive seen fail in other applications. Its way too early to tell. Its also not as big as Id expected. It seems like a comfortable, reasonably well laid out backpack, but honestly, nothing special, and not quite what Id expected from Carhartt. It looks kinda like a cheaper woven nylon pack, in Carhartt tan, with their logo sewn on. Hope Im wrong. Im not trying to bash it, just giving an honest, straight forward review.
