18-11-2024Changed my review. Stuff is good enough, wish I amazon sells amtechs flux. They should cap so flux does not spill. It is annoying to have to unscrew the needle everytime.

> 3 dayI was very disappointed when I received this item since I was expecting it to come with a needle-like tip to aid in the application of the flux. In my case there was none. I just finished a few minutes ago making my own but have not yet attempted to use it,

> 3 dayToo tacky, hard to work with. High melt point. There is better available.

> 3 dayThis stuff is magic. Its way easier to use a hot-air rework gun for smaller semiconductors using this stuff. The parts stay in place and you dont have to nudge them back into position if you use a rework gun at the wrong angle. I will be buying more of this.

Greater than one weekI love this flux, not only for when I have to remove / replace a chip but just for general solder work. Its like a sticky goo that wont go dribbling all over the place. For the occasional soldering that I do, this makes life so much easier. FYI... Their other kit with the low-temp solder works great to remove surface mount chips.

> 3 dayWorking on circuit boards? This product makes soldering so much easier. Solder flows easier and the job gets down without cold solder joints (if you know what youre doing). Clean up is easy also.
