Chipquik Tack Flux no clean in a 10cc syringe w/plunger & tip - SMD291

> 3 dayI wanted to use this for professional work, so I called ChipQuik to get some questions answered. Without divulging the name of the manufacturer of the flux itself, be assured that this flux is ROL0 rated. This means that it wont corrode the solder joints over time, like some other more aggressive fluxes will do. Im docking a star because my order didnt come with the pink needle as shown in the picture. The different colors represent different needle diameters, and it is important to size the needle correctly for the size of the surface mount components that you are soldering. Also not shown in the sellers picture is a black rubber cap that locks the handle to the syringe plunger so the handle doesnt fall out every time you let go. Some of my shipments have the cap included, and some do not. See my photo for what I received.

21-11-2024This stuff is magic. Its way easier to use a hot-air rework gun for smaller semiconductors using this stuff. The parts stay in place and you dont have to nudge them back into position if you use a rework gun at the wrong angle. I will be buying more of this.

> 3 dayI dont agree with the no clean part as it leaves a sticky residue, which I eventually clean with isopropyl alcohol. But it does what its suppose to, so Im satisfied.
