> 3 dayI got this for our dog (obviously) on the review of a groomer. There are a lot of cheaper options out there but you get what you pay for. This is nice and sturdy and I have no doubt it will last a long time. Like I said, you get what you pay for. Don’t be swayed by the cheaper prices of similar combs - you will be disappointed and then end up paying for this in addition to your cheap comb. Do yourself a favor and just pay for the nice one right out the gate.

> 3 dayI returned this comb without opening it. That should be enough to get the message across. Ive used combs for over 60 years to groom standard poodles. I misplaced the one I had used for the last 20 years so went shopping for a replacement. I bought everything from the cheapest to the most expensive trying to find the best comb. I threw the cheapest away after their teeth began to fall out. I found the best among the mid priced. It has a rounded handle and the teeth have stayed in. It glides well through a coarse coat. The most expensive had a rectangular handle that I know from experience is not comfortable. I kept another size of the same make so I know that it would not move like butter through a coarse coat. Comparing all combs, the most expensive is not the best.

> 3 dayThis is a must have! I wish I had known about these combs years ago. We just brought home a little maltipoo. Its been years since Ive had dogs that mat. So I forgot about how important combing them often was. I bought a grooming set that had a metal comb in it and thought...where has this been all my life? but then my friend turned me onto this little guy. It wonderful for combing around their faces and eyes. Great for blending the hair so they look fluffy. I suggest both combs, and with these two I dont think I need anything else. This is a heavy little comb with fine and superfine teeth. I can comb her head and face now and it looks like Ive actually combed her. It fuzzes out her little feet and body and she looks even more adorable. My only beef is that its a little pricey but this truly is a one time purchase so bite the bullet and get it. You wont regret it.

Greater than one weekI now have the longest tine length brush as well as the large pin slicker (coral) and recently got this comb. Its perfect for what I needed, occassional grooming of tough spots my standard poodle gets on occassion, usually on his neck. He doesnt mind me using any of the brushes or comb on him and I find the wide spaced teeth on one end of this comb to be extremely good for the small knots he sometimes gets when his coat is being kept long for winter.

> 3 dayI bought this for my papillon because I was having trouble combing the soft fur around his ears. It does a beautiful job and was half the price of the professional grooming tools. Very sturdy and easy to hold.

> 3 dayI saw a video of a dog groomer. She recommended this comb. I am not a groomer but it is money well spent. Moves well thru hair, does exactly what it says.

Greater than one weekHonestly, I think it is absolutely overpriced to pay $32 for a stainless steel comb originally. But, it is highly recommended by the Havanese forum. So, I decided to skip Starbucks a few days and bought one for my pup. I find myself use this comb a few times a day on my pup as I want him to get used to be handled. After one week, he will lay on the bed contently while I comb thru his matted hairs. Then, my friend told me about Andis Pet Steel Grooming Comb which is 1/4 of this price. I bought one immediately and later decided to return the Andis. The quality of Andis is no comparison to this Chris Christensen comb. Andis comb feels sharp and I am afraid to use it on my pup. I use this CC comb on my pup all over. I just the coarse side to comb his body and legs. The fine comb side for his face and neck. I truly LOVE this comb and it will last a lifetime. Its one of my favorite purchases thus far. If you are considering this vs. Andis, you should buy CC and you will not regret it.

Greater than one weekYup, I spent more on a comb for my kitter than Ive ever spent on any of my own hair products. She is the fluffiest, prettiest creature youll ever see. This comb keep her tangle-free and show-ready. Weve had cheaper combs, but they truly dont compare. This comb slides through her fluff like butter. This was a worthy investment.
