Co-Pilot Luggage Roller Suitcase

> 3 dayI bought this on sale a few years ago and I love it. For anything over a long weekend, its my go-to travel bag, both overseas and domestic. I love the wheels, which are big, sturdy, and roll nicely - Im never afraid theyre going to break on me. I like the clamshell more than I thought I would, as it helps keep things organized. The only thing I would change is I wish the front pocket opened from the top and not the bottom - it would be easier to access from a bin (as most overhead bins are designed to take roller suitcases wheels first) and i wouldnt dump out everything in the front pocket if ive forgotten to zip it!

> 3 dayI travel about twice a month and was looking for a simple, modern yet durable carry-on that would accept my Timbuk2 TSA Messenger Bag. This thing really nailed it!

> 3 dayIve used a version of this bag for extensive international travel for the last 6 years. While the nylon is very durable, the extension handles are very poorly made. Ive had two bags where the metal has snapped mid-travels, which is a real hassle since its a carry-on and the handle doesnt retract properly then. Both happened after about 2 years. Timbuktu will fix it, but it costs almost 50% of the price of a new bag to ship it back to them.

> 3 dayThis is without a doubt a bag that has been thought out in design except for the size. It is anything but small. It is so well made and the features are many as has been detailed in other reviews. It is so study and will hold up for years if not decades to come. BUt it is Huge!!! I took it out of the box, opened it up and could fit my entire wordwobe for a year in there. Very deceiving. I am a flight attendant and have traveled exclusively with TravelPro and this bag is equal in quility to my flight bag. However I need a smaller lighter bag for travel in Europe this summer. I have measured this and the demensions are indeed 21inches high. But it is easily 15inches wide and 10inches deep. Which is over the permitted size for really any carry on. And its heavy. I dont have a scale but it has to be 9 lbs and is just as heavy as my flight bag which is 9-10lbs. Its a great buy for $100. I just wish is was smaller because it just has so many great features. It just doesnt meet my needs.

Greater than one weekThe Timbuk2 Copilot Luggage Roller is a beautiful, well-built piece of luggage. In the photo, this is a nice looking piece of luggage. In person, this is a beautiful, classy piece of luggage that makes me wish that I could travel more just so that I had more reasons to use it. It has a classic yet contemporary look and the red top-stitching makes a bold statement. The suitcase opens up like a book with one hard side and one soft side, so you have protection for the items that need it without the unforgiving shape and bulk of a fully hardshell case. And, there are plenty of pockets to keep things separated, including two on the outside for items that need easy access. My favorite feature is the long, sturdy handle. I’m reasonably tall, but with my very long legs I often have to stoop-walk when using rolling luggage. The handle on the copilot luggage roller is long enough that it comes to my hip when fully extended. It also glides like butter even over rough carpeting and cobblestone. This is my new favorite piece of luggage.

Greater than one weekBest luggage I’ve ever experienced! I’m 61 and hard to impress——this case is fantastic

> 3 dayAlmost too many compartments and the extending handle when stored, as with most roller bags, limits the storage space inside. It could have been designed to be less obtrusive but likely would have sacrificed some durability (Ive noticed most of these handles are rectangular rather than circular, which makes them easy to hide)

> 3 dayI am a huge fan of this bag. It has a ton of room and is very durabke. The wheels are more like skateboard wheels. They easily glide over any surface. The zippers are a bit tough at first but once the bag is opened a few times they glide easily. I travel once a week for work and being a lady find travel bags can be very restrictive. But this one is great. Fits all my essentials.

> 3 dayI love timbuk2 luggage and other bags, but these co-pilot rollers are just great. I have two of the X-Large and one of the medium and mix and match depending on my needs. For international travel, I usually bring both of the X-Large. The medium has been allowed as carry on with every flight domestic and international on a half dozen airlines so far.
