> 3 dayThis is my 3rd co-pilot. They redesigned the material on the outside front... not an improvement. The new material shows every single scratch and mark and theres not countervailing benefit from it. Disappointed they did not improve the bag. That said, its a good bag.

Greater than one weekSaw expandable in the product description. Just got off the phone with Timbuk2 customer service. They claim the front pouch and upper shoe compartment are expandable when used. Using expandable in the product description was misleading for me. Looked at many bags before choosing this, expandable (when applicable) meant the entire bag would expand. Will be returning this.

> 3 dayThis small suitcase holds a lot! I took it on a 10-day Med Cruise and was able to pack everything (and more) -- The packing cubes help too!! Love the skateboard wheels -- they roll smoothly (even on European cobblestone streets in Venice). The top compartment is convenient to pack things you need on the plane w/o having to take the entire suitcase out. This is the first clam-shell style that Ive owned -- I like it...not sure if you really get that much more packing space.

> 3 dayPretty much exactly what I was hoping for. I wasnt sure if the medium would be ok for all overhead bins so I went for the small. I think k it was the right call, its big enough that I dont feel limited at all and its fine in all overhead bins. Build quality is very good, Id easily recommend this.

> 3 dayI have went nuts reading reviews all over the place trying to figure out which bag to buy. I got this bag as well as two others to compare. I like the simple, well made construction of this bag. The rigid molded back is sturdy. With squared corners and a flat front, the interior has little wasted space. Inside dimensions are 21.5 x 14 x 8.75. Clamshell design is convenient but can be left unzipped if you just want a single compartment bag. The skateboard wheels are definitely the smoothest and most quiet by far and would seem to hold up well while being easy to find and replace. Someone complained about the zipper being stiff. It is very stiff, however it began to run easier as I used it several times and seems very sturdy and well made. The grab handle on bottom is solid. The nylon strap side and top grab handles are a little small but I suppose adequate. The telescoping pull handle is probably the weakest part. It extends to 40.5 inches at the top and I really like the feel of the golf club grip. It seems the tolerances are a little loose so the handle does have a little wobble and twist. The reason I returned this bag are the dimensions. I was looking for an international carry-on size and thought this one may work with stated height of 21.6 inches which would exactly qualify for the carriers I am flying. I know how to read a tape measure. This is the height of the bag alone. The Full exterior minimum dimensions not being overstuffed measure 22.5 x 14.25 x 9.5. Of course the 9.5 inches depth will squish or bulge to 10.5 -11 inches. The weight of this bag by my scales is 8.2 lbs. If looking for a carry-on for U.S. flights alone I would have kept this one.
