I bought this to use in my monthly trips to NYC...so I carry 2 aluminum water bottles, a 9 Samsung pad, a spare battery, chargers, snacks, paperwork, and a bunch of other things I dont need. The bag is extremely well made and extrudes quality manufacturing. It is streamlined and really well thought out, missing the usual 12 other features you dont need, and will never use. It was obviously designed by someone that works in a busy city. The grab handle seems reminiscent of a handle you find on the back of a 2000 lb steer that a cowboy would grab for 10 second ride. The adjustable strap would make a Navy SEAL jealous with the speed and accuracy with which you can adjust it. Seriously...buy this bag. Its a couple of backs more, but its a true, classic case of you get what you pay for.

I purchased this bag through amazon in November and have enjoyed using it in my everyday commute to work. I commute to work by train. It comes in various colors and sizes yet I purchased the medium sized black version. Great quality as expected from a timbuk2 product and lots of space for all my necessary items. The entire bag feels durable and seems like it could last someone an entire lifetime of use. The material this bag is made of feels high quality. Wearing it on my shoulder is comfortable but the strap pad it comes with can be a little stiff(my only minor complaint). My Macbook Pro 15in fits in there just right with enough room for other items and accessories. It is also weather resisatant as I have used it in the pouring rain and it has held up extremely well and was quick to dry. Overall the bag is great and would reccommend it to whoever needs a bag for their everyday commute.

I am using this as my personal item for air travel. Holds all of my in-flight essentials with no problem whatsoever. Stylish, excellent quality. Cant beat the Timbuk2 brand.

I bought this bag for a Macbook Pro as I had outgrown my Trager. The laptop fits perfectly into its own sleeve. I havent used it yet to get through the airport. There are plenty of compartments and lots of room for papers and files. The only negative is that the pad on the shoulder strap is too slick to keep it in place on my overcoat. I use this for business and I dont like slinging the stap over my head like messengers do. The handle is ok, but could have been larger with more padding. There is a another pad that is grippier and I will order it soon.

I use this as my carry-on for personal items while traveling and in all honesty only ordered it because it had Water bottle holders on the outside of the bag whereas many others stupidly put them inside the bag (this has them inside too, just in case you dont care for your other items).

Doesnt hold up. I bought one of these to replace a BBP messenger bag that lasted six years and still looked new when finally a zipper broke. Within 4 months of purchasing the Timbuk2, the flat side that swings against your body was shredded and worn. Timbuk2 refused to help, calling it cosmetic damage not covered by warranty. Terrible durability, terrible customer service. Never again. My mission in life now is to tell people to steer clear of this company.

Great bag. I had a small Commute but found that the medium has all the room I need. Laptop easily fits as well as all necessary cords. I keep some extra scrubs that I need at work in the bag. Good organization. I love leather bags but ones that are as big as this and hold as much stuff are extremely heavy on the shoulders. This is a nice weight bag with a great adjustable strap.

Excellent bag. Better design than the updated style.

Hoping for typical Timbuk2 quality, I bought it to replace a previous model. I use the bag for business and I travel quite a bit making the shoulder carrying strap, water pockets, and laptop section ideal. The small phone pocket size and reduced amount of pockets in zippered (secure) sections force me to return the bag. Ok. I couldnt return the bag since I waited too long evaluating it. My first Timbuk2 was purchased in 2006 and retired in 2018. Darn good Id say. It spent 900,000 miles traveling and being stuffed under seats and into overhead bins. This new bag was pressed into service and didnt last a year. The zipper to the computer side broke rendering it useless. Id expect that performance out of a $30 bag, not Timbuk2. Sad to see what Timbuk2 has become. Gets one star because I cant give it zero.

Amazon has the best price on this product, better than any Wetsig it, and my husband loves it! He travels on the plane every week, and fits his stuff for 48 hours into this bag, it has so many features, and its really really a great product.
