> 3 dayThis seems to be a good solution to hindering anybody getting into the mini fridge. It attaches securely with the 3M backing. Really need to be accurate with the location of the 2 tape ends otherwise the locking bars wont line up. I dont think the material holding the locking bars in place is tough enough to keep anybody from using a hack saw to cut through it, but it will slow them down.

> 3 dayThe 3M adhesive definitely sticks after immediately applying, so place with care because you wont be able to reposition once its on. I used this for my front loading dryer and used the long arm on the door and short arm on side of the dryer for holes to properly align for locking. I waited a few minutes and then used all my strength to try prying it off and it did not unglue at all. Very pleased with purchase

> 3 dayBad headline but it was a good joke haha. To be honest I had a lot of room mates that would always touch my fridge so I had to get one but I noticed one minor set back. It is a deterrent because of the lock but anyone determined enough can still get into your fridge and that isnt because of the lock but because of the sticky adhesive on the side of the fridge. The lock works like a charm but it doesnt matter if with enough force someone can yank it by the roots which unfortunately happened to me and my sandwhich and pepsis are gone :( haha but it worked for most as a deterrent.

Greater than one weekI adopted a 72-lb. pitbull that surprised me by opening the fridge and eating a pound of homemade marina sauce and a block of parmesan cheese. I bought one of these locks and used a carabiner clip to secure it. I can tell he was messing with it and trying to pull it loose. Hes STRONG and hasnt been able to open it. Then he figured out if he hopped on the counter, he could open the freezer. Got the frozen pesto and chocolate ganache. So I bought another one for the freezer. Any lock with plastic or velcro pieces would have been chewed up in minutes, but these have been holding strong for four months. UPDATE: I bought a new fridge and need to put the locks on it. I contacted the company asking if I could buy just the bases since the arms can be re-used. They are sending me two sets of the adhesive bases for free. Excellent customer service!

> 3 dayI brought this thinking the adhesive would come off within the first two weeks since I would be putting it on a small chest freezer which typically runs warn, hence my apprehension as I though the glue would come get heated and it would get unstuck. image my surprise 6 month in and this sucker is still going strong. You have to be careful when applying it originally as once enough force is applying it will take a bit of work to get off. I really like to fact that it came with the lock include and for the price I at least kind of fell as like Im getting my money worth. all in all would definitely recommend.
