The only purpose of this short review is to emphasize that for people who have been desperately searching for a mouse that recreates the features of the original CM Storm Xornet, look no further, this is your dream come true.

I am really short and my hands are really small. Ive been looking for a good small and claw-grip mouse since all the other mice Ive used hurt my wrist and I end up getting minor carpel tunnel. This mouse helps a lot with those like me who 1. use claw grip, 2. small hands, and 3. drag their wrists on their mousepad to game. Great on a budget too!

Luckily I fall into the I love it! category. Man, a mouse that doesnt treat my ring and pinky fingers as bums to just be dragged along my mousepad. The MM720 give them a home, a place to rest, a place to relax. Its a revelation going from an ambi mouse to one that is ergonomically designed for a right hander. Your fingers just naturally fall into place. You gotta feel it to believe it. I use a fingertip grip (no claw) and went from a Model O- mouse to the MM720. My aim feels (and seems) improved, without the changing friction of my pinky dragging, along with a solid grip, aim seems to come easier. The reason why I didnt give it five stars are the optical switches. They are very touchy (less travel) compared to the more clicky mechanical switches of the Model O-. Sometimes Ill accidentally press the left mouse button just by gripping the mouse. Im sure over time Ill adapt. Mouse cable is on par with the Model O-, doesnt drag or effect the mouse. All in all, Im digging it. Put all my old mice up for sale, so that speaks for itself.

I’ve had this mouse for about a week now and while it took me about a day to get used to, I absolutely fell in love with it. I’m coming from the model o which is a really good mouse as well but I found the shape of the mm720 to be more comfortable for me. It’s wider and more lightweight which feels a lot better for gaming. I play claw and have larger hands so if I use a an ambidextrous mouse like the model o, I find my hand starts to cramp up after a few hours. With the mm720, I don’t have that problem at all. Build quality and RGB feels better too. I think it’s 100% worth getting if you’re looking for a lightweight mouse thats comfortable to use.

I bought many mice in my day, but none come close to the quality and the design it has instantly become my favorite mouse to game on even includes grips that you can add if you want

Ive owned this for about a year and a half now, and I cant go to another mouse now. I have some issues with my hand cramping when gripping a mouse for a while due to ring finger placement, but the support from this mouse negates it. Ive seen questions about grip, but can say its not an issue. There is more than enough grip area, plus it is insanely light. I cant give 5 stars, as the left click button is starting to fail, plus the cord has kinking issues, but if you have cramping issues, this mouse is a must have. And with the price, I dont mind replacing it every year or so.

I suggest to NOT add the grip tape it comes with. The price goes from $45 to $18 bucks. For anything below $20, this is a great mouse for work and general use, but I am not liking it for gaming at all. It seems to have a delay in clicking and sensor wise.

Its an imperfect product by anyones standards. However, it performs well, weighs nothing, and feels very comfortable. Cant fingertip it with small hands. Wouldnt recommend it for palm at all, either. Claw grip should work for a wide range of hands. Fingertip will work for hands medium and (probably) up. I have hands on the smaller side of medium and get high scores in aim trainers while fingertipping this thing. Best build quality? No. Stock grips? Meh. Usable. But the price and performance are top notch. This mouse is rated as the number one ultralight mouse on rtings.com, and there are reasons for it- namely the click latency and weight. The feet and cable get my approval, too. Clicks are dull and light. Thats common for optical switches. You trade that for decreased latency. At least thats how it is until optical switches improve (Edit: Razer has achieved mechanical-like feeling in their optical switches). My copy has occasional creaking in mouse 1, but the price/performance ratio is so great I have to let it slide. This mouse needs no upgrades and has been on sale for $35. Its not the most solid because of how light it is, but if this shape works for you, youre going to like it. I did adjust this from a 5 to 4-star review, however, because I do question the long-term durability. Plus the clicks could be snappier. Razers V2 optical switches feel like mechanical switches and the Viper Mini is cheaper than this mouse. I still really enjoy the MM720 and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone who is interested in this kind of shape. This is coming from someone who almost strictly used symmetrical mice until I got this one.

If you were a fan of the old Spawn mouse, this is definitely for you. Its super light which is a huge plus -- weighed in at about 50grams. I loved the old Spawn so when I saw this was going to release I was super excited to give it a try. Over the years Ive personally switched more to a palm grip, so I prefer the length of my current mouse, but if I hadnt done that this would be the perfect mouse. Sensor is fantastic, the cable is as good as a cabled mouse can be, the weight is fantastic, buttons are great, materials are nice, rgb is really well done, and I think the scroll wheel has a good amount of tension. Finding the right mouse is really often about shape, and this one has such a unique shape that its worth giving a shot if you generally use a fingertip or claw grip and generally like the pinky rest idea (for 4 years since my spawn died I have been dragging my pinky on the mousepad like a heathen) this is a clear winner for that use. Ive included a photo of the mouse next to my Glorious Model O (which is a Zowie Fk 2 shape) for comparison - I think the rgb is better on the Cooler Master
