I was nervous to buy this replacement filter initially based on a review that mentioned something about a bad smell coming out the unit after filter was replaced. I didnt experience this. I have had this air purifier for about 2 years now, and I love it! I have had no issues so far, hope it stays that way! Very good investment, my allergies have reduced significantly in addition to using a humidifier with eucalyptus oil.

Fits in my Coway air purifier and works just fine. No odor that many others have mentioned. However the print on the HEPA filter does differ from the one that shipped with the air purifier. The air purifier pumps much more air with the new filter and the old one looks pretty gross after the suggested 1 year of use. Highly recommend changing these on schedule.

Replaced both filters and cleaned my air purifier in less than 5 minutes. The replacement filters were a perfect fit.

Second time purchasing Conway replacement vs a clone/knockoff. This kit is the real deal and about $20 less than buying from Conway company.

These arent knockoffs, they obviously work (see photos of old and new) and I totally recommend. The only CON, if you want to call it a CON, is if you have allergies or burn wood during winter, Id replace them more often than whats recommended.

Ive tried replacement filters from other manufacturers but theres a reason you buy OEM products. No chemical smells, no need to worry about fit. Only thing is these will sometimes go on sale for $5 cheaper, so buy ahead of time when they do go on sale so you have them when you need them!

I can confirm other reviews commenting on the VOCs, or to me the smell. It does have a very plasticy, unpleasant smell when you put your face right in the air and take a deep breath. Dont notice it in the room though and no one has yet died in the 6 months since I installed it. Air seems clean.

Ive tried the generic versions to save money, but the Coway replacement is the only one that snaps in easily. I feel more confident that air is being efficiently filtered. Im very sensitive about odors and the Coway filter has no odor of its own, and does a great job cleaning the air.
