Coway Airmega AP-1512HH Air Purifier Replacement Filter Set, 1 Count (Pack of 1), White

Was happy to open the package and get the exact OEM filter when purchasing my Coway mighty along with 2 additional prefilters. I did read some reviews stating the filters had an awful smell to them, mine did not so that issue must have been resolved.

Sure, you could get generic filters that are cheaper, but certain things i like to spend more on. For example i only need to buy this once a year. Ill spend more for the name brand cuz you know what youre getting and its really not that much more.

I was nervous to buy this replacement filter initially based on a review that mentioned something about a bad smell coming out the unit after filter was replaced. I didnt experience this. I have had this air purifier for about 2 years now, and I love it! I have had no issues so far, hope it stays that way! Very good investment, my allergies have reduced significantly in addition to using a humidifier with eucalyptus oil.

Because our apartment gets a lot of gas, we have to change the HEPA filter frequently and the packaging gives you only one HEPA filter and two thin black dust collector filters. So we have built up a collection of black dust filters since we don’t have to change those as frequently and the HEPA filter is more critical to be changed than the dust filters.

Last year, I bought a generic that was supposed to be just as good. It was not. The fit is perfect on the Coway brand filters. The knockoffs were loose and did not create a seal. When I swapped out the knockoff there was a large collection of dust behind it. Without the gap, the Coway filter will prevent this. Accept no imitations.

Bought one for my son’s room after testing revealed he had allergies triggering his asthma. The unit is a little big, but fits nicely in the corner. The highest setting is a little loud, but the other two settings are quiet and unobtrusive. It helped with his allergies and helped cut back on the teen boy funk in his room as well. I have since bought 2 more - one for another son’s room and one for our basement.

I have purchase at least 5 sets of these filters. They do an amazing job at removing the odors, pollen, and dust in my 1000 sqft house. Life of the filters is dependent on how much particulates are in your house and frequency of use. In general, its best to replace the filters at the specified cycle from the manufactures or sooner if you are a heavy user like myself.

Purchased these as replacements for my Coway air filter. Easy to replace and works as expected.

We purchased 2 of these back in February along with two other filter replacement packs. The latter were specifically for the Coway Air Mega 150W (of which we have 4 in our home). Due to limited availability of the correct 150 replacement packs we were told by Coway that these AP-1512HH filters could be used also in the 150. Well ... sadly, that is not the case. Perhaps this is our own fault for waiting until spring to actually swap out the filters ... and now we are beyond the return window. Either way, identifying the correct filter for a particular Coway model sold not be as difficult as it is. Now we have 2 of these things that are quite useless.

We have the Coway air purifier due to a dog with allergies. This is in combination with vinyl plank flooring has been a tremendous help. Easy to order and quick delivery. Very pleased.
