I made 5 charcuterie boards for a pre wedding Meet and Greet the family event and used walnut boards I had stored for 20+ years in my attic. The Walrus Oil did what I wanted and was easy to use, It brought the color out and looked great sealed the wood well so it washed off food particles and looks clean and ready for another party. I got lots of compliments and I will use it again on some projects!!

Best way to preserve your cutting boards and any other raw wood items in your home. May turn some light woods slightly darker on first application but does fade over time as it is fully absorbed.

I received an expensive, personalized, charcuterie board as a gift. The only problem, it wasnt conditioned and protected from use. I reviews many different products and found this one. I was nervous as I applied it and the results were AMAZING. It changed the whole board - made the wood colors POP to life!!!! I ended up putting 3 coats on the charcuterie board and then went and pulled out trivets (I put 2 coats on them). I let them rest about 30 minutes between coats, then let it sit for a day. No greasy feeling on the wood. After uses, I will continue to apply to the board (dont use the board that often). I LOVE this product and would recommend it.

Love this stuff. I use Walrus Oil brand for everything that I make for kitchen use. I use it on cutting boards, cheese slicer boards and rocking pizza cutters. So much better than plain old mineral oil. I have a bottle of name brand that has been sitting on the shelf for years. I guess that I am keeping it for backup but seem to always have Walrus Oil on hand and never use it. i also use Walrus Oil cutting board wax. I also use Walrus Oil furniture oil I most everything else that I make from wine displays, bottle stoppers, custom hunting knife handles to a trestle table that I made.

I forgot to take a before photo but this product brought new life to my collection of vintage teak items. I did a fair amount of research before selecting this product, because I didnt want to cause any damage to the wood. I used a tea towel and was able to treat all of these items with multiple coats using only half the bottle! The wood drank up the moisture and restored the beautiful wood grain textures and color to its original vibrance! And now they have another great protective layer for many more dinners to come! My only complaint was that the oil comes out of the bottle super fast, but it only took a few tries to get the hang of how hard to squeeze the bottle (I ended up just tipping it to the side and letting it pour out on its own). I also bought the wax for my cutting boards and my cheese dome to protect it from the elements when sitting in the fridge.

I had been gifted a family kitchen item- and old wooden cutting board. [I usually used the neoprene ones]. I had it for years and it was dry, Decided just to see what it would look like oiled. Its now my Best Cheese or Charcuterie Board. AMAZING Restore. Used on all my wooden utensils now.

I needed to refresh my cutting board and this really added the moisture needed. Very good buy.
