> 3 dayMy cutting boards look much better. It stays on through several hand washes[light brushing with very watery soap and water[detergent] Feel like my boards will last longer and not develop cracks. Time will tell.

> 3 dayI had some older kitchen knives, and related tools, with wood handles, that had not been treated well. They were dried out and rough, but not to the point of cracking (yet). I wanted to save them with a food safe product and chose the Walrus Oil Cutting Board Oil to try. I sanded down the handles to 220 grit to smooth them, and applied the Walrus Oil with a rag. It soaked right in. I wiped off any excess after a few minutes. After letting them dry for 24 hours, I did this again, buffing the handles with a dry rag at the end. The instructions did not say that the second coat was necessary (limited instructions on the bottle and at the company website), but I wanted to do this. The handles immediately took on a dark, smooth finish, comparable to newer, well-cared for knives. Along with better care (no more dishwasher trips), the Walrus Oil helped me save several knives and kitchen tools. It was very easy to do.

> 3 dayI bought this to use on a new bamboo tofu press. After I was done spreading the oil on the press, I decided to use the rag on my teak armoire. It looks amazing! I then used the same rag on several other wood furniture items. Unfortunately, I did not take any before photos, so after photos wont mean much, but everything looks beautiful. I think the oil will end up being very economical because that same rag can probably be used again and again if stored properly. I highly recommend; also made in the USA!

> 3 dayI made 5 charcuterie boards for a pre wedding Meet and Greet the family event and used walnut boards I had stored for 20+ years in my attic. The Walrus Oil did what I wanted and was easy to use, It brought the color out and looked great sealed the wood well so it washed off food particles and looks clean and ready for another party. I got lots of compliments and I will use it again on some projects!!
