> 3 dayIn today’s world, it’s almost silly to not have some type of program that allows you to alters the pictures you take. How often have you taken a picture, just to later upload it and discover a flaw that otherwise would have been a perfect picture? With CYBER LINK PHOTO DIRECTOR 7 ULTRA you have the power at the tip of your fingers to enhance or alter your pictures.

> 3 dayI have played with many photo editing software programs over the years. This one is fairly straight forward and fairly easy to use. I had to hunt and peck for awhile as I was new to its layout. But, overall after you see the breakdown, etc. it is not too hard to navigate. It does have some powerful abilities, but in my opinion not as powerful as photoshop. Although, it does allow layers to be built and merged which is similar to photoshop. I did not see a quick way to control each layers transparency etc. as I am accustomed to in Photoshop. I originally opened the program with a photo to edit and simply wanted to flip it horizontally. I looked for a long time and only found a way to rotate it. Which is not the same at all. While continuing to feel my way around in the program, I ended up importing another pic and then discovered that via layers, you could flip the pic. It will take a bit more exploring and learning the programs abilities to get the entire ease of its use - but overall it does seem to be a strong and solid editing program for its price range.

> 3 dayIf I had know what a complicated hard to understand program this was I would NEVER have bought it and instead bought Photoshop !

> 3 dayAfter downloading and trialing nearly a dozen photo programs to replace Picasa (which is no longer supported by Google), PhotoDirector and Lightroom rose to the top. Note: I see a lot of one star reviews. These days, I wonder about anyone who purchases software without trialing it first to see if it works on their machine and if they like it. Life is too short - if the trial software doesnt work on your computer, uninstall it and move on.

Greater than one weekI purchased a photodirector from Amazon. It’s installed in my computer and everything worked fine. After 3 months, I decided to delete the photodirector. because had problem on computer. And I reinstalled(with product key) it, but every time I launched the program, a massage from dialog box coming out, saying, Cyber link photodirector was not activated because connection to the activation server could not be established. Check your internet connection and try again. You have xx day(s) left to use photodirector without online activation.

> 3 dayIncredibly slow software, frustrating to use (unintuitive), buggy (cant find faces in photos that clearly contain faces, meanwhile thinking a pair of shoes is a face).

> 3 dayI enjoy this program, I still havent learned every detail but I am not giving up. I like the program overall. It will edit raw photos. It will organize by date, it will save my projects. I have no real complaints. I uploaded images I have edited in photo director 7.

> 3 dayFirst, let me state that Ive been a big fan of Cyberlinks Director Suite and have purchased several over the years. In addition, while occasionally glitchy, PowerDirector, ColorDirector & to a lesser extent-- AudioDirector are reliable and easy to use tools for producing great video.
