> 3 dayI purchased a photodirector from Amazon. It’s installed in my computer and everything worked fine. After 3 months, I decided to delete the photodirector. because had problem on computer. And I reinstalled(with product key) it, but every time I launched the program, a massage from dialog box coming out, saying, Cyber link photodirector was not activated because connection to the activation server could not be established. Check your internet connection and try again. You have xx day(s) left to use photodirector without online activation.

> 3 dayIf I had know what a complicated hard to understand program this was I would NEVER have bought it and instead bought Photoshop !

> 3 dayUp to now, the only photo editing Ive done with with the simple crop, contrasts, brightness, and red eye effects with the Windows program that came with my computer. With a backlog of family photo CDs collected over the years, I wanted a program to help me organize and edit the best of them. So, I was pleased at the opportunity to try this program, even though I thought it might be overkill for what I wanted. It is.

> 3 dayThis is an excellent photo editor. It isnt as dumbed down as Photoshop Elements and it has many of the features of Lightroom (its clear they patterned a lot of its capability after Lightroom). I couldnt find anything in PhotoDirector that was lacking. In fact, they make it easier to use some of the more advance features of Lightroom. For example, in Lightroom you can see the effects of the Masking tool under Sharpening by holding the ALT key while moving the slider. In PhotoDirector, you dont have to learn about the ALT key option from some other source - they have a button near these tools that allow you to see a preview (the ALT key works in PhotoDirector as well).

> 3 dayI have to admit that I am not good at figuring out how to use these types of programs. I get frustrated and give up on them if theyre difficult. The easiest way for me to learn something is to watch a tutorial, so thats what I looked for first. I clicked the help button and then the first item on the drop down list. That took me to the website where there were 17 tutorials which covered the basic how tos in a very easy to follow manner. So, within minutes, I was EASILY editing photos. So, if you have any problems, or want to learn this quickly, watch the tutorials!

> 3 dayWhen choosing between this and Photoshop & Lightroom it was real close, but ultimately not having to pay a subscription fee pushed me over to Cyberlink PhotoDirector. It has many of the same feat as Adobe, and Ive found it fairly intuitive. Plus paying less than $50 for it made it a steal.

> 3 dayNot very impressed with this program. Worth the money to just buy photoshop or use an online editing program. This program freezes on me all the time and is not very user friendly.
