Love this.Its easy to use and make my photos so much nicer.

I originally got version 6 as a free download, then upgraded it to version 7 (paid upgrade). I am still learning the program.

After downloading and trialing nearly a dozen photo programs to replace Picasa (which is no longer supported by Google), PhotoDirector and Lightroom rose to the top. Note: I see a lot of one star reviews. These days, I wonder about anyone who purchases software without trialing it first to see if it works on their machine and if they like it. Life is too short - if the trial software doesnt work on your computer, uninstall it and move on.

I liked all the options in this software. There were a lot of filters you could use. You could transfer objects in and out and change things you dont like. You can work in layers.

I am so angry. I just purchased 10 mins ago, I clicked on the MAC icon twice to get it to accept. It finally did and I paid for it. When I went to pay for it and download it on my computer, it gives me this long spill that it is for a windows computer not a mac. I am demanding my money back, This is false advertisement and you can not do that. I have already spoken with our corp attorney and he advises that you return the money. Up to now, the only photo editing Ive done with with the simple crop, contrasts, brightness, and red eye effects with the Windows program that came with my computer. With a backlog of family photo CDs collected over the years, I wanted a program to help me organize and edit the best of them. So, I was pleased at the opportunity to try this program, even though I thought it might be overkill for what I wanted. It is.

Makes organizing thousands of images easy. Uploaded over 27,000 from my archives and expect to add several times that with my new camera. Appreciated the different flagging options which enables rapid location of theme-specific images. Have yet to use the face recognition features, one of the main reasons for purchasing this software. While it took over 8 hours to export 611 images for one project, the process was flawless. No chance to use the more advanced image editing features yet. Not quite top end for that from the description . . . but then neither are my needs; should be more-than-adequate for 98% of my needs. Happy camper so far.
