I had been shopping and reading reviews for the perfect detector for quit some time. My previous one was no longer available. Company went out of business. This detector ad said it would do all that I needed. Wireless, battery in detector and plug in electric receiver. After installing, I just needed to adjust the detector, it was picking up the neighbor mowing his lawn. I love this unit. It has many sounds you can use. Mine sounded too much like my door bell, so I adjusted that. So very easy to install and make adjustments, and definitely works as advertised. It arrived a day sooner than expected, with package in perfect condition. I would purchase from this company again.

Driveway alarm

this thing actually does what it advertises

Ive had several Guardline driveway alarms and they lasted a year or two and then quit working. When I tried to get a replacement sensor, what was available worked on a different frequency which made my receiver junk. While the sensors were working, I got false alarms. I have had a Dakota system and motion sensor for several months This product had more settings and it feels like it is better built (I suppose time will tell). I have not gotten any false alarms.

I installed this on my entrance to my driveway and it’s works fantastic. It lets me know whenever anyone enters my property. The only issue I had was that I attached the receiver to a tree and red ants got into it. I then called Tech support and they told me I should put in moth balls to keep the ants out. After placing the moth balls in the receiver I have not had anymore issues with ants. Overall it’s a great product that actually works and is pretty reasonable.

I am very pleased with this product. It works great in our driveway. I would buy it again. I also liked that it was made in the USA.

Very reliable and high quality. The range has not been overstated like most others product. They work well as described. Its not in the description however the swivel base can be mounted and adjusted up, down and left or right for more precise use

Have this plus 2 more transmitters installed around my vehicle. The house is 120 yards away but has a great connection. Any IR motion inside or near my vehicle will activate the receiver bedside. Great peace of mind at a fraction of the cost of a two-way (expensive) vehicle alarm!

If you are looking at this review then you know what it is for. Got this for another part of the house to expand the driveway alert’s usefulness.

Replaced an older Dakota unit that died (after about 10 years). Works well.
