> 3 dayI live in the tropics and 1 of 2 detectors failed in 4 months, (bought xtra unit) found water inside after 2 weeks of rain. Must have come from the small breather hole... so one works great, Ill try getting other repaired by company and update. Also I paid 110 USD, now its 80 four mouths later...

> 3 dayThe sensor can only detect up to 15ft when set to its maximum 100 ft range. The transmitting had good range and penetration but the sensor is virtually useless.

> 3 dayVersatile little unit, was able to connect two pairs of the Yohii dual beam infrared sensors using Dakota doorbell switches to make a perimeter alarm across front and side of property lines (100 x100 ft ) and the included passive ir sensor for the back yard. Originally went with the Guardian but they no longer make the doorbell switch needed to interface the IR beam to the receiver unit so had to return. The only gripe I have is it would have been nice if the receiver had battery option as I like to move the unit from different rooms and maybe a rotary dial for volume adjustment ( you have to toggle button with 5 presets) The passive ir sensor works flawless once you aim it correctly and have never had a false alarm
