Darn Tough Mens Hiker Merino Wool Micro Crew Socks Cushion

I got these socks because I hear about how amazing they are, but when I got this pair, they were more akin to those thin dress socks than a good, hearty sock. As much as I would love to have a good quality sock that isnt going to wear out quick, I just cannot do those thin dress sock types, they just feel weird on the feet. Wore them half a day and was done.

Purchased several pairs ahead of a hiking trip to Utahs 5 National Parks. I was extremely pleased with the fit and comfort (Im a size US 10.5). Kept feet comfortable even in our warm hikes. Id buy again for sure.

Wicks sweat, keeps my feet warm, and the bottom of the sock is extremely comfy. I give it a comfy/10

I bought a pair of Darn Tough socks at a retailer a few years ago because the description sounded phenomenal. I was searching for that elusive sock that did not wear out on the bottom, especially in the heel area. I also thought they looked incredibly durable and where very attractive too. The attention to detail that is woven into these sock, is undeniable. Everything from the thickness of the soles, to the shape and contour around the foot. Since that first pair of socks, I have purchased more Darn Tough socks in various weights and to fit my busy outdoor activities. I mostly walk and hike, but I even wear them around the house as slippers. During the cold Minnesota winter, they sure come in handy. They also never feel hot and sweaty on my feet when I wear them hiking in the Spring, Summer and Fall. They are always very comfortable. These socks are made to last. Darn Tough are the only socks I will ever buy from now on. I just bought my husband several pairs as a gift, including this crew sock, and now he is sold on them too. Honestly, I would rate them even higher than a 5 because, in my view, there is no other sock that compares to it.

I really like these, and pretty much only buy them now. My first pair is going on 2 or 3 years old now, which is about 2 years more than a cotton sock without the reinforced heel. A little pricey, but so far its worth it.

These socks are the best out there. They allow my feet to breathe and are very comfortable. I have had some of these socks for over 3 years. When they wear out I will be back. I just hope they are still making them 5 years down the road.
