Darn Tough Mens Hiker Merino Wool Micro Crew Socks Cushion

I bought 4 pair of these socks in anticipation for an elk hunting trip coming up in a month or so. I’ve been hiking 4-6miles a day getting ready for the trip. Once these socks arrived, I noticed within the 1st 10 mins how much better they were than what I was using. Very impressed and hopefully they hold up!

Instantly comfortable, temperature regulating naturally, and durable. My go to hunting socks. No blisters after miles of uneven terrain, and they also help with odor.

First use and the internal nylon stretchy threads snagged toes, causing huge loops of nylon that caught toes worse the second time. Had to cut the nylon thread ... which of course reduced the fit. Customer service was considerate saying that i simply had to pull the nylon threads from the other side of the sock to get them back into position. Sorry, not my idea of how to spend my night in the tent after hiking all day. Never had similar problem with Wigwam.

Best socks I ever owned

These are great fitting and comfortable socks, but are not as high fitting as boot socks, nice cushioned sole which should give long wear.

Very comfortable; nice and thick and cushiony — and they don’t slip — love them.

These socks are wonderful. Fit as expected but they tend to lean towards the larger size in their range. I wear 10.5 shoes and the size large 10-12 socks are probably closer to an 11.5, but thats not a deal breaker for me. Just this weekend I developed a large blister while wearing wool army socks and combat boots. At lunch swapped on a pair of Darn tough socks and had no problem for the rest of the day. The blister was padded and gave me very little problem or pain. I intend to buy many more pairs of Darn Tough socks.
