I have worn the medium weight hiking socks from Darn Tough for a long time. I recently tried the heavyweight hike/trek socks and like them even better. These are at least equal to any socks I have ever worn and will surely last longer. I am about to order two more pair.

Perfect hiking sock and will keep your toes happy while hiking in snowy Colorado mountains. These do not bunch up while hiking.

The socks themselves are absolutely incredible. Just to give you an idea on their durability, two pairs survived a 2000 mile backpacking trek, getting washed in streams more frequently than in a washing machine and neither pair had any holes, tears, etc. by the end. I would add an extra star or two to my five stars for their warranty. As long as my socks last I just tried there life long warranty out for the first time on a couple of pairs of socks that had finally developed holes after several years of abuse and it was ridiculously easy. I received a full refund to use on the site to order the same socks again. They are expensive initially but more than worth it.

I was looking for an all-season sock. I wanted a medium weight sock that I could wear all yar long. They are comfortable and can be worn with hiking or running shoes. I like wool over cotton because they do not retain the water like cotton. Nice sock. If the description is correct, these are the last set of socks Ill need to purchase. I purchased a few socks and after receiving them I like them so much I ordered several more. Nice product.

Ladies and gentlemen, viewers of all ages. Im back. I bought 7 pairs, and Its been 3 years. Six pairs are in weekly rotation, lost one pair. Ive been wearing the socks for the better part of 5 days a week, 8 to 23 hour long periods of time. Only wearing 1 pair for one day, or changing occasionally to a dryer pair. I work outside all year long. I never babied these socks. They have walked untold number of miles. Put it to you this way. Ive been threw 3 and a half pairs of boots. And Ive just now TODAY as of writing this, have a hole in my sock. 1 of the 14 socks has a hole in it. Im very happy with my socks. They still function as such. I just thought Id write my review today.

Great quality socks; soft, and durable — Ive been wearing Darn Tough socks for years. These are great for hiking and trekking as well as for daily use (I wear them with my Red Wing boots).

These socks are warm in cold weather, although not the best for freezing temperatures. But I knew they arent ultra thick when I bought them so theyre just what I wanted. The reason I didnt give five stars is that I find the leg band a bit tighter than most other socks I own, and I have somewhat skinny legs. The socks are comfortable but would be better for me with a less constricting band. I wear size 11 shoe and the socks fit my feet fine.
