Darn Tough Mens Hiker Merino Wool Micro Crew Socks Cushion

Bought for my son. These are the only socks hell wear. He loves them!

Super comfortable, no crazy washing instructions considering they are wool.

I normally wear size 12 or 13, which would be right on the border of large and XL. I ordered the XL to be safe based on other reviews saying they run small. However, even the XL is borderline too small and I can barely get them on comfortably. So be sure to order a size up and maybe even two sizes up. Ive worn them on one short 4 mile hike and they seemed to work well.

I have numerous hiking/hunting wool socks by various manufacturers. These are excellent in work boots, hiking and hot to cool days in the field. They are super durable and have some type of anti odor property no matter how sweaty your feet get. The weave is very dense and very comfortable. I machine wash mine and hang them to dry just to make them last even longer, but they are ruined if you forgot to take them out. I managed to do something to one of my socks and it got a small hole in it. Darn Tough replaced the set under warranty. I REALLY like these and plan to get more.

Thin and super comfortable and unbelievable cushioning , 29 miles on the loyalsock traik ... Best sock i have ever warn , being within the usmc i have tried multiple brands of socks and these ... Have been the best

So far they are nice, but really hot on your feet.

Wore them for my first 14er mountain hike in Denver. They held firm, my feet were comfortable and warm. I did have moleskin underneath to prevent blistering but they didn’t move around at all so I probably would not have gotten blisters just wearing them. Well made!

Bought these as a cheaper alternative to the Smartwool socks. Having used all of them, I have no complaints. I couldnt tell the difference between the Smartwool and these hiking. Provided comfort, moisture-wicking, and padding for those long days hiking. Id absolutely recommend and buy these again.
