> 24 hourIve only used this for a month but so far its lived up to its expectations. The design is very well thought out (everything seems practical, no wtf were they thinking components), and the padding on the back makes it pretty comfy even when stuffed full and quite heavy. The look and quality (e.g. the zippers) are also really impressive for the price. I looked at tons of options and even ordered two others, but sent those back. Ive recommended this bag to friends, so would recommend it to you as well, dear reader.

> 24 hourThis bag held up extremely well. Please do not overstuff it if you want to take it as a personal item free of charge on flight like we did (see pic) it definitely fit in the carryon slot as you can see in 2nd pic for a charge.. the bag was light and comfortable to carry, handles did not rip during travel, I love that it opens wide like a suitcase and has many different compartments. If you’re wondering I flew frontier and it met the guidelines of carryon one way and personal item on the way back as I didn’t stuff it so DO NOT pass on this amazing bag

> 24 hourI like to travel luggage free for quick trips. This is a great bag. The only real design flaw is the front pockets only have one zipper each. This results in having to open the flap entirely. Not a good experience if you planning on using your pocket for small items (make up, keys, sanitizer, eye drops) all the items will fall out if you need to look for something.

> 24 hourIm 52 and this 17 pack fits perfectly. It weighs ~4 lbs empty which seems fairly standard for this style backpack. The features I wanted were a sideopening (like a suitcase) a pocket to store the shoulder straps(in case I have to check it) and a pocket for my Ipad. In addition, this pack also has some smaller outside pockets for passport, cellphone, anything you may need to access easily. It has an adjustable holder for a water bottle with an additional strap to secure it. It also has straps to cinch the backpack tighter to decrease the fullness.A previous contributer commented that it would be better for the smaller ouside pockets to be against your back so they couldnt be accessed by pickpockets. I dont disagree but I always use a travel waist belt for my important papers so thats not an issue for me. I was looking for a backpack with a waist belt also but that typically adds another 40.00 to the cost. This backpack doesnt really shift too much when I bend over so it wasnt worth the extra expense. Im only using it in airports. If I planned to go hiking I would have looked for a much different backpack. I packed a poncho, sweatshirt, 5 pair of slacks, 7 tops, personal items, brush, ipad, essentially enough for 1+ week and had additinal space left to pack more. The stitching and zippers look like they will hold up well with heavy use. Overall, this is the pack I plan to use for a 3 week vacation next spring. Great price and well constructed. Since I havent used it yet I only gave it 4 stars but I have no doubts it will earn 5 once I travel with it. Update 3/2023 Just traveled to Cancun from North Carolina. I was able to pack enough for a week without difficulty. Some of the things I realized... I could not use the water bottle holder if I cinched the bag to make the depth smaller; theres a key holder on the inside pocket and this was great. One of the pockets on the inside was waterproof. My pack weighed 14 pounds total once I had it fully packed. Im 68 and my husband is 78 and we had no difficulty getting the pack on or walking long distances with it. The weight on our shoulders were evenly distributed and very comfortable. I absolutely loved the pocket to tuck the straps into. This feature was handy when I chose to carry the pack instead of wearing it. The small front pocket was perfect for our 1 quart liquid bag and was easily accesses.Overall I was very pleased with all the features. I will use it as a carryon for my 3 week trip to Europe since I plan to bring back gifts and will be checking a bag. I highly recommend this backpack based on its functionality and excellent price.

> 24 hourI have used this bag for more than 6 trips. Most of them have been 7 days or longer. It counts as a carry on on all arlines Ive tried, and I have also used it as a personal item on Spirit, Frontier, and United. It fits under the seats, but is a tight squeeze if its full on the aisle seat. This bag has more pockets for organizing that other similar bags. I really like the extra front pockets, which allow you to organize your smaller items well, and the tech pocket with the padded area is perfect for my tablet or computer. I never check a bag when I travel and this bag fits everything I needed for an 8 day cruise and a 10 day honeymoon. There are a few improvements that could make this bag even better, though. The interior compression strap buckles are very flimsy - one broke after the first time I used it, which is disappointing and means I cant compress items as well as I should be able to anymore. Also, it would work better if the exterior compression straps were sewn outside of the zippers. When you cinch them tight, it stresses the zippers and seems like they will eventually fail because of this. If the strap had been seen to the other side of the zipper, it would squeeze the zipper instead of stressing it. I also wish it had a hip belt for more support. When its full, and you are carrying it for a while, it gets pretty uncomfortable in the shoulders and rubs a lot. Lastly, the water bottle pocket doesnt work well because of the zipper design, it is too narrow at the bottom and water bottles tend to pop out. So, while I feel that this is a good basic travel pack, there are the few things that set it apart from a much more expensive travel pack. Overall, for the money, I am very happy with this bag versus other that cost 3x times more.

> 24 hourI chose this out of all the others because a reviewer mentioned that it protected his laptop well, but I do not see how. The edge of your laptop facing down will be right up against the ground and will not survive a short fall. Its still a good bag, Im sure, but all the other bags seem to fail in the same way, if they just stitched it so your laptop were suspended above the bottom of the bag then it would be fine, and wouldnt even need padding.

> 24 hourThis backpack was absolutely amazing, my daughter and I were able to fit 3 days worth of clothes. Fit perfectly under the seat on the flight home. Lots of room. And I would definitely recommend this backpack

> 24 hourThis bag is honestly the bomb!!! Really nice quality, and so many features and little details they thought of to make this bag everything you could possibly want and still store it under the seat on the airplane as your personal item!!! I’ve searched a lot of bags and nothing compared to this, most look similar, but they do not have a cupholder on the side, which was important to me. And this one’s features two extra straps to make sure your drink thermos doesn’t fall out! Highly happy & recommended!
