> 3 dayI have used the same backpack for 20 years and it was time to upgrade. This bag is durable with a stronger connection of the straps than other brands I looked at, so Im less concerned that they will break by their hooks. The black is closer to gray. This bag has several pockets, smaller than other packs which I like for organization. The laptop pocket is large and a good option for things beyond a laptop. The packing cubes are a hit with size options. I fit enough for a four day conference easily. Then the backpack stored under the seat for my flights much better than my previous bag. My only annoyance was the zipper for hiding the straps was folding down and I used a safety pin to secure it up as I was using the straps. I also added a thin pad to the pocket that holds the backpack straps for a little extra cushion on my back. Im very pleased with this backpack after rejecting two similar models.

Greater than one weekI was considering a much more expensive piece of backpack luggage. I chose this one because it was comparable in features and size at a fraction of the cost. This backpack has exceeded my expectations. I took it on 4 trips in the last 2 months, and it has performed very well. The 17 bag does not fit under an airplane seat but can be stored overhead. I use it with packing cubes, so its easy to load and unload. I dont like all the plastic hardware, but it has held up to a lot of abuse. On one occasion, this bag was overloaded. I used the outside side straps to tighten it down to a reasonable size. The shoulder straps are long, cushioned, and very comfortable, even when running through the airport fully loaded. I also got caught in a sudden downpour and the fabric repelled the rain. Everything inside remained dry. It can be hard to find anything, not in a cube. I only wish the interior fabric was a contrasting color. Otherwise a great travel bag.

> 3 dayI just completed a 10 day trip through Germany, Austria and Switzerland with only this pack full of clothing and a largish purse. I made it until day 8 before running out of clean clothes, but that was because the weather was cooler than originally projected and some of the shorts and dresses I packed were not warm enough to wear. I was so impressed with the space in this pack and it’s durability. I also love how it unzips like a carryon, so it is easy to open and find items without having to dig into it like a normal backpack. I used packing cubes with the pack for organization and it really was perfect for a long-ish trip. Jumping on and off trains, riding in gondolas, walking over cobblestones - all so easy without having to maneuver a roller bag.

> 3 dayI was looking for a backpack/carryon and bought this one after viewing Jackie M’s video in the Amazon reviews. The pack safely stores my electronics and functions as a suitcase or a backpack. The blue is denim like and very attractive. Amazing value for the money!

> 3 dayThis is a good bag with lots of space. The problems I had with it we’re… on my recent United flights it would not fit under the seat in front of me. I sat in the aisle seat and the plane had a power strut using up almost 1/2 the space and this bag wouldn’t fit with that there. I had to put it in the overhead area so I didn’t have anything I needed for two very long flights. I did not overfill it, it would fit fine in the space in front of the middle or window seat. Mostly a frustration at United but also a normal sized backpack or bag would have worked fine. Also, I wish the zippers on the front had two zippers that met in the middle. The zipper always opens on the side and things fall out. Otherwise it’s a nice bag and definitely has lots of room to pack clothes as well as an iPad or small laptop.

> 3 dayWhen youre flying on a budget airline this bag is within the dimensions of a personal garment bag and fly’s for free. Each member of my family has one and its paid for itself many times over with carry-on luggage costing more than a ticket. We flew to Vegas from SFO for $50 RT. A carry on would have been $160 RT ? Even if you’re taking a carry on this is a nice bag to bring back souvenirs.

Greater than one weekCompletely happy with how well this suited my solo travel needs this past weekend. I packed 4 full outfits including briefs, socks, toiletries, large gaming laptop, accessories, and gifts for a friend. This thing has a TON of room, you just need to order some packing cubes and watch a video on rolling your clothes to save space. My backpack was heavy, but it held up no issue. I also used spirit to fly, didnt have to pay the baggage fees. Get one!
