i have these on all of my doors and they have been great so far. we’ve had them for 2 years now since my daughter learned how to open our lever door knobs. you can move the top and/or the bottom lever to the side, whatever your preference to unlock it. i haven’t had to remove them yet so i’m not sure if they damage the door upon removal, but they’ve stuck to the doors for 2 years with no issues

This does the trick! Stops our little one from opening doors and love that it has both the up and down stopper. However, the distance between the two arms seems a bit large and could allow enough room for some door levers to unlatch. We installed one with the lever in the middle and it had enough room for our son to unlock the door but not open it which seems a bit too close for comfort. The rest we installed with the stopper touching the lever on the bottom but once he figures out how to open the door by pushing the lever up it will be game over for these.

This has been a life saver! We moved and I had no idea how I would keep my 2 year old from opening the front door. This fits perfect between the handle and the door. Super easy to use. Only thing I suggest is being careful when you apply it, so the handles move in the direction you want them to. My little guy has figured out how to open all kinds of baby proofing door handles, but so far he hasn’t figured this one out!

Definitely recommend this product. Especially if you have a toddler. It’s very easy to install. It’s hasn’t came off and we’re going on 5 months.

These were simple to install and effective, but our toddler figured them out in less than a week.

OMG, I cant believe how great these are. We have French Doors going to the outside of our home. The kind where both panels can be opened and you have a 6 opening to the outside. But to re-close and lock them you have to pull both sets of handles up to engage the bolts at top and bottom. Most of the time, you only open the active panel to exit and enter, and leave the passive panel alone with the bolts still engaged up and down. For the 11 years weve owned our home, guests and relatives have flunked the intelligence test :-) of which handle to open, and then for locking both doors to make the house secure. I cant tell you the number of times weve come home and both doors were wide open because someone didnt lock the passive panel properly, and the wind pushed both doors open. We literally thought we were going to vote some of our friends, and some of our kids, off the island... And because the doors were blown open, we were either trying to air condition the world in summer, or heat the world in winter - both are very expensive - and we got so many bugs inside... We used these child proof lock to secure the handle on the passive door panel so people wont try to open that door (see the attached picture). Problem solved - for less than $13 bucks. Amazing. Phenomenal. Awesome. We absolutely love them. These are STURDY, too. Solid. Worth every penny. Worth twice the price.

Our dog had figured out how to open our levered doors. We havent had any issues since we installed this. Its easy to install and use. Our only issue was that we tried to take it off (as instructed) to put on the other side of the door, but we werent able to get it off easily.

Absolutely perfect. My cat kept escaping his room. Hes not allowed out when were not here because hes destructive. This worked wonders, definitely recommend.
