These are easy to install and use. I like how you can separately move the top and bottom. My son is currently too short to open doors by pushing the handle up, so weve been keeping the bottom portion in the locked position and the top in the open position. Once he gets taller, we can start locking the top portion as well.

We got them to keep our dog out of certain rooms. Works like a charm.

My cat opens doors. He cant open them now. Very easy to use.

The devise does just what you said it did! My cat learned how to open my door but with this lock in place he can’t open it.

I thought it would swing in both directions to lay flat against the door. It doesnt! So make sure you know which side it goes flat before putting it on the door. Else, its a great product. Does its job!

Bought it to keep our toddler from opening the door to the top of the basement stairs. So far it’s great and not inconvenient when we need to go into the basement.

So if your doors are paneled, you dont get full surface adhesion, but having said that, mine has been on for a couple of weeks not and the adhesion has held up. On our handle, the space between the door and the handle just barely accommodated the lock. The handle actually rubs on the handle. Our dog opens all of the doors, and we bought this lock to keep her out of the pantry. So far, its done the job.

This lock is perfect if you have toddlers. Right now we only need the bottom one because the little guy cant push it up but the design is great and easy to use for both ways.
