As soon as I received the item I knew it would be breaking. They really need to fix this design flaw. There is no support for the deodorant when applying. It broke and I am only half done using it. Waste of money.

Ive never written a bad review of any product before, but this one deserves it. I bought this product for travel. After about 3 uses, the actual deodorant broke off the applicator. Nothing seems to be holding it on to the plastic base except about 3/8 inch of soft deodorant. When I returned from travel, I assumed this was a fluke and I purchased a refill pack. This time it broke off at the first use. Im tossing this deodorant and the applicator away. Dont waste your money.

Broke on my 4th time using. Also, this deodorant keeps me sticky for awhile after applying. I am now resuing an old cardboard container from my previous deoderant to finish this Dove up. Like the concept of less plastic (would prefer plastic free completely), but will not be repurchasing.

pretty much the only issue i have with this product is that while using, if you arent extremely gentle, the product will break off. it has happened to me 2 times now. even after i tried to be extra gentle while using the second time around. the whole deodorant stick will just come right off & youll be left with no way to fix it because it does not reattach once its broken. so i guess this is a design flaw. & there is no way to control the amount of deodorant that comes out, its one size & it only gets smaller as you use it. but other than that i like the size & i like that its aluminum free. its good for traveling as well. if they fixed the easy breakage it would be 5/5 for me.

Just opened the container came in broken. When I applied the second one, it broke on me as well.

I like the concept but the design is flawed. The deodorant breaks off the base on the first use (twice! I was trying to be careful!) I’m out $14 so far. I’ve just generated all this extra trash with the big boxes and the disposable refill cases and now I’m got a steel tube as well. Ugh. Come on Dove! Just sell a little cake of it or something. Give up on the case.

I absolutely LOVE this concept and believe that it will eventually work. Right now I am not a fan, the deodorant breaks complete off.
