I really love the metal refillable deodorant holder. It is a definite space saver in my toiletry bag. I am afraid they will discontinue it so I stocked up on the refills. I have never had one break and I have been using them for about 2 years. I do keep a rubber band around my case to ensure the cap doesn’t dislodge accidentally and damage the deodorant stick. Works for me!

These immediately broke off as soon as I tried to apply them to myself. Just fell off the stick. Not worth it and can’t return because they’re in the trash now

Iv broken the deodorant when it brand new 2x already, it’s smell good and lest a decent amount of time but I really hate when it breaks.

I love the concept: much less plastic waste, smaller package, refillable. But Ive gone thru about 5 of the refills now and they all break off. The last one I used I was very, very careful to gently apply and it still breaks off. So frustrating bc I love the idea of it so much. But it breaks off at the slightest pressure and then its a huge pain to apply and your hands get deodorant all over them so really youre making more waste than if you just bought the normal package and didnt have to replace a not fully used one prematurely. They need to come up with some kind of twist up design or something. Will not buy again.

The fragrance was nice but the deodorant stick broke off at the base within a few days. Couldn’t use it anymore.

Ive been trying so hard to reduce my use of single use plastic: ditching toothpaste tubes, shampoo bottles, disposable razors and etc.. Ive tried natural deodorants, that dont work so well, and still come in a plastic dispenser. I was thrilled to learn Dove was making a refillable deodorant , since I had used Dove deodorants for for probably 30 years.. Then, disappointed to read the reviews where so many people complained the stick broke off the dispenser after a few uses.. I decided to give it a try anyway and so glad I did! I just have to ask: how hard do you scrub your deodorant into your armpit? Me, I just give it a few gentle swipes and Ive had no problem with the stick breaking off... the scent is great and lasts all day. Good to remember, this is *not* an antiperspirant, but a deodorant..

If you apply it like regular deodorant it tends to fall off the case it is on - I wasted 2-3 that way - be gentle when applying

Just opened the container came in broken. When I applied the second one, it broke on me as well.

I absolutely love this deodorant but have a feeling dove won’t sell it for long due to bad reviews. I hope they do make an alternative refillable, if they do. The scents are great. As you can see I’ve used it quite a bit. It has a few marks from tumbling around in a bag, and the top has never come off. I put the other dove aluminum free next to it, just to compare dove products. The other does not work well or last all day. Yes, the price can get steep, so glad I could get a deal.

I bought this refillable product to help our planet - unfortunately after 4 different of these refills breaking off, rendering the product useless I sadly decided to go back to regular deodorants.
