> 3 dayIn my Subscribe & Save for long time… took a simple shift in mindset to realize the new paper dispenser is just as good as the prior plastic one. I Highly Recommend. ♥️

> 3 dayMy periodontal dental hygienist recommended this floss so I ordered some from Amazon. I love the roughness and thickness of the floss, but it would be better without the light cardamom flavor. I drink cardamom chai every day and I use cardamom in some of my Indian cooking, so its not as if I dont like cardamom, but just not in my dental floss. Whats wrong with unflavored floss anyway? Or even the traditional mint or cinnamon flavors would be better than this. Different isnt always better. Also, the cardboard dispenser it comes in is useless, but I just transferred it into my plastic J&J Reach floss dispenser and that works fine. I dont mind that they package it in cardboard because Im happy to reuse plastic dispensers.

Greater than one weekEffective. Durable. Sustainable and user friendly packaging. While I couldnt say enough about the quality of the previous one in the round plastic packaging, this improved version is so much more.

> 3 dayAs many reviewers stated in April 2023 reviews, the packaging was changed from a hard plastic dispenser to paper. If youre careful with the cutting tool at the top of the paper dispenser, the cutting tool works just fine. I have a scissors in the bathroom anyway for cutting packaging so its nothing to cut the floss to the desired length if need be. The floss is still quality. While itd be really nice to have the hard plastic dispenser again, or perhaps a little cheaper cost with the paper dispenser, the floss is worth buying. Unprompted Amazon refunded my entire purchase which I dont feel was/is necessary. 4 Stars for the paper dispenser. 5 Stars would have been for the hard plastic dispenser.

> 3 dayI really like this floss, and its been a worthy replacement since my preferred woven floss (reach woven, later listerine woven) was discontinued years ago. It has enough surface texture and is bulky enough to clean the larger spaces between my teeth, while still being squishy enough to make it through the narrower spots. And I like the mild flavor. My latest order came in their new plastic free packaging, and it turns out the floss inside is the same size spool and on the same size hub as the old package. That means you can use the new version to refill the older plastic packages. The new packaging is just fine, and is preferable to throwing away the old one each roll, but I like the old package better. It seems to protect my floss better rattling around in my toiletries bag. To refill an old dispenser, carefully pop off the colored plastic shell, remove the old plastic hub, open up the new dispenser and get out the filled spool, then put the spool into the new dispenser running clockwise. Thread the floss out the slot, and make sure the inside end of the floss on the spool wont get trapped in the hole in the hub. The clear plastic disc which will come flying out when you pop open the old package goes on the top side of the spool. Put it on the pin inside the colored plastic part first, then press that pin into the hole in the spool and bottom plastic part to close the old dispenser back up with the new refill. Also, on a pedantic note, the new packaging does still have a plastic hub and the spool sits in a small plastic bag, so describing this as plastic-free doesnt seem quite accurate. But its definitely much less plastic than the old approach used. Great floss, and Im glad I can now refill my old dispensers

> 3 dayMy dental hygienist suggested Dr Tungs floss because I have crowns that shred regular floss. I must admit my crowns shred the Dr Tungs floss too. It is made of very fine fibers held together by bees wax. I cant blame the floss since the problem is the crowns. The flavor is interesting. Pleasent but not minty. It does a good job of cleaning as long as it does not get hung up on your dental work.

Greater than one weekThe floss is scrubbier than the slipperier types so does a better job cleaning your teeth in my opinion and experience! The flavor is minimal and pleasant.

> 3 dayReview for DrTungs Smart Floss - Natural Floss 6 pack First off, this is the best floss Ive ever used and Ill keep buying it no matter how they dispense it. The floss is fibrous and strong. It gets between the teeth, spreads out, and clears debris. The cardamon is very mild and refreshing. That being said, the new cardboard dispenser is the worst floss dispenser Ive ever used. When I saw that they had changed, I didnt care because the dispenser isnt the reason I buy this floss. It doesnt seem like you can make a bad floss dispenser. But they managed it. The original was a sleek plastic number that locked closed. Not the best dispenser that Ive seen, but it looked good and worked well. Theyve now changed to a flimsy cardboard with a groove that makes it difficult to extract and cut the floss. They justify this change as eco friendly, using less plastic. Which is fine, if the product worked well. But they did not design the cardboard replacement well. Theyd be better off sending out bare spools and scissors. Either bring back the plastic, use a new materiel, or redesign the box. This is terrible.
