> 24 hourGot this for the wife as shes something of a clean freak, and as soon as I saw the the green laser thing, I knew shed love to have a better view in what was on the floor and needed vaccuuming. I was pleasantly surprised once we received that the green laser wasnt just a gimmick. Battery lasts a good amount of time, and the vaccuum is a significant improvement over our previous vaccuum. Time will tell if the extra cost of a dyson is worth it, but so far weve been happy.

> 24 hourAfter researching the best vacuum for my hardwood floors, I settled on the Dyson V15. It appeared to have all of the features that would make my life easier and cleaner. I am not disappointed. It’s lightweight, easy to maneuver and very effective in picking up. The laser is an added bonus. There is a good feeling about being able to see how effective your efforts are. I needed a vacuum that was easy to carry up and down stairs and was hoping for something that would be maneuverable enough to get under beds, tables, etc. This vacuum is so much more than I hoped for. Yes, it’s pricey, but worth every penny to me because it does the job and is very easy to use. I’m enjoying it so much that it’s hard to put down. Good thing it needs to be recharged every once in a while.

> 24 hourI never thought love and vacuum would be used in the same sentence from me in my life. However, comma, I love this vacuum. We replaced our carpet and the pile was too high for our self-adjusting Dyson Ball. It would just suck itself down to the carpet and was insanely hard to move. You may be looking at the difference between the V15 and oversized one with a larger capacity and bigger cleaning head - not my cup of tea. We have about 900 sq. ft. of carpet and we only have to empty it a couple of times, which is super easy. The attachments for it are great and really add to the versatility factor. I also bought a water dripping scrubbing attachment for our hardwoods, and that is excellent too. It doesnt suck up any water (at all), and leaves everything looking great.

> 24 hourI cant understand positive reviews for such an expensive vacuum that falls so short. 2800 square foot house, maybe 65-70% carpeting and various throw rugs. This vacuum cant get the job done on one battery. So, I have to wait hours for the battery to recharge. To be fair, it has an Eco setting that might allow me to do the whole house. I never tried it because the suction on Eco is terrible!!! Might as well use a tiny dustbuster. If I am paying $700, I am paying that for the power to get ground in dirt and dust up on the first or second pass. If I wanted bare minimum suction, there are plenty of handheld vacuums available for $100 that offer that. Unless your house is 100% wood and/or tile floors, the Eco setting is useless. On top of the one battery issue, this thing is heavy and uncomfortable. The trigger has to be held down constantly and this weighs considerably more than my old Dyson handheld. When using its top setting, no question this model gets up the dirt. Its very effective. But, its only able to do a room or two with carpet and then the loooong recharge has to begin again. For this kind of money, I need a vacuum that can get the job done. Other Dyson handhelds had two batteries in the past, so its not like Dyson is not aware of the difference that having two batteries can make. I would strongly recommend you look elsewhere or buy an older Dyson that comes with two batteries. Buying an additional battery to make this model genuinely useful will up the price to around $900-$950 and its simply not worth it. Really disappointed in this model. Its going back for a refund.

> 24 hourI cannot say enough about this vacuum except how much I love it! We live with 3 long hair cats and have gone through countless vacuums that barely touch the hair. I was shocked at how much cat hair this picks up. Im also very happy with the length of time the battery runs. I can pretty much do the whole house plus a screen porch on one charge. I will never buy another brand again.
