Easy to use. PS. You can use it going forward AND reverse. Just takes some getting used too. It has great suction in BOTH directions.

I have been wanting a cordless Dyson for YEARS, but it is a pricey purchase. My old previous current vacuum was starting to slow down (over 10 years), so I finally took the leap and bought the newest model (the V15) vs to older models. As I have not had the V11, I did hear that it is a little heavier but compared to the battery life and storage, this is definitely worth it. For reference, the vacuum is used in a large 2 bedroom with low carpet and some hardwood floors.

This is so much better than dragging electrical cords all over the house. Very happy. Bought a much cheaper machine, and it was not effective, at all. You get what you pay for. I could wish for a bit more suction, and more run time on the battery, but from our limited sample of two machines, this is far, far superior. Easy to get against walls and under furniture. Good selection of tools! Perfect for bare floors.

Dont waste your time and money on cheaper stick vacuums like I did...this thing is in a different league, its awesome.

Better suction then the “animal” prior model, removes pet hair quickly with less passes and without using highest power setting. Larger bin so more capacity for hair dirt etc. Better collected waste dispensing method than prior models so less chance of accidental discharge. Heavier and larger than prior models so a bit unwieldy for my small wife. Better charging pin placement if you plan to install the wall mount. The prior models would not always seat in the wall mount correctly and sometimes not charge. The charger puts out more power and the battery is larger and holds more charge so the charge is quicker and the battery lasts much longer. The Battery is “smart” in the sense that charge level is at % charged meter vs. a bar graph. We have three Dyson vacuums in various homes and one more in the hanger so we are fans.

I never thought love and vacuum would be used in the same sentence from me in my life. However, comma, I love this vacuum. We replaced our carpet and the pile was too high for our self-adjusting Dyson Ball. It would just suck itself down to the carpet and was insanely hard to move. You may be looking at the difference between the V15 and oversized one with a larger capacity and bigger cleaning head - not my cup of tea. We have about 900 sq. ft. of carpet and we only have to empty it a couple of times, which is super easy. The attachments for it are great and really add to the versatility factor. I also bought a water dripping scrubbing attachment for our hardwoods, and that is excellent too. It doesnt suck up any water (at all), and leaves everything looking great.

Love this cordless vac.! Much better than their corded vacs.! I love all the attachments, the varying speeds of this vacuum to ease of emptying the canister. Overall, this is a wonderful vacuum. Also, got it at a great price on Amazon.

Seriously cannot believe how good this vacuum is. I don’t know what else to say.

I dont normally write reviews on Amazon, but I read a lot of reviews about this vacuum before paying hundreds of dollars for it. After using this vacuum 10 days I have to say this product is absolutely worth the $600 something dollars I paid for it. It absolutely cleans to my picky gay household standards, having an 80lbs dog in an 800sqft apartment, this vacuum basically equals out all the dog hair and dirt that our pet brings in. With all the attachments that come with it, there is nowhere in my apartment that cannot be cleaned with it. I will say after using if for over a week now, It works perfectly for my one-bedroom apartment but it may not satisfy someone with a three-bedroom house unless you buy extra batteries to replace and keep cleaning.

We have 2 hairy Golden Retrievers and this Dyson is a life changer for me! Love how lightweight this vacuum is and the battery lasts long enough to clean most of my 3,000 ft. home. We have mostly tile floors and carpet in 4 bedrooms, and I love how the laser light shows me all of the dog hair and dirt on the floor. We also have a Miele upright vacuum, which is great, but very heavy and hard to push around. I dread using it. Love my new Dyson V15 Detect because it is so lightweight and very easy to use!
