> 3 dayWe have 2 hairy Golden Retrievers and this Dyson is a life changer for me! Love how lightweight this vacuum is and the battery lasts long enough to clean most of my 3,000 ft. home. We have mostly tile floors and carpet in 4 bedrooms, and I love how the laser light shows me all of the dog hair and dirt on the floor. We also have a Miele upright vacuum, which is great, but very heavy and hard to push around. I dread using it. Love my new Dyson V15 Detect because it is so lightweight and very easy to use!

> 3 dayThis is so much better than dragging electrical cords all over the house. Very happy. Bought a much cheaper machine, and it was not effective, at all. You get what you pay for. I could wish for a bit more suction, and more run time on the battery, but from our limited sample of two machines, this is far, far superior. Easy to get against walls and under furniture. Good selection of tools! Perfect for bare floors.

Greater than one weekOur old stick vacuum not performing as we had hoped it would, so we started shopping around for a replacement. After much research, I decided on this Dyson model V15 Detect. It was quite expensive compared to most other choices for a replacement. However, You get what you pay for! This machine is by far the best stick vacuum we have ever had. It came with several accessories including one for rugs/carpets and one for hardwood/tile floors. They work excellently! Love how a green light on the hardwood floor attachment actually shows the dust and dirt that your eye misses! Even though it comes with a single battery, we have yet to run it completely down with one use (light touch up with 5-6 hardwood rooms and four rooms with carpet or rugs! The battery can be charging all the time when not in use without building a memory or harming the machine. It is far more powerful than any of our previous machines and easy to empty and care for. We use this for most of our vacuuming needs and use our Kirby for the heavy duty, twice-a-year vacuuming of carpets and rugs! I mentioned before, great performance but pricey. If it lasts for a long time I will consider it a good value! I will update if any issues come up.

> 3 day5 stars for the vaccuum but 3 stars to the seller for Price Gouging. They shipped it quickly is the only reason I gave them 3 stars. I paid $1000.00 for this vaccuum. I havent yet contacted customer service to see if anything can be done abouy it, but i will update my review if they make it right. ..... So, FYI EVERYONE... YOU CAN GET THE SAME EXACT VACCUME WITH THE SAME EXACT ATTACHMENTS (WHICH ARE INCLUDED EVERYWHERE ITS SOLD) FOR 699.00. SOLD ONLINE THROUGH THE MANUFACTURER, TARGET, & NUMEROUS OTHER ONLINE MERCHANTS. The vaccuum OBVIOUSLY is wonderful & amazing. It is, after all, a DYSON. The laser is an interesting update and does occasionally prove to be a very helpful addition. The particle identifying & measurement of what the vaccume is sucking up, is, kind of pointless. It doesnt increase any functionality or ease of use of the vaccuume. The auto detecting feature for the strength of suction and battery power needed is very helpful in saving battery power allowing you more time to get the job done. Amazing suction power and sealing ability with all surfaces that you truly are able to feel the suction and sealing of the surfaces while vacuuming.

> 3 dayI had a little canister vacuum that did the job. Nothing frilly… But getting it out of the closet, adding the appropriate attachments, and then schlepping the thing around the house as I pulled the cord behind me was SUCH A DRAG that just avoided vacuuming. Borrowed a neighbor’s Dyson cordless stick vac, though, and fell in love. Now I vacuum my small condo a couple times a week — and even zip it out when company is coming. It’s night and day. And the vacuum holds its charge is easy to empty and there are even a few third-party attachments that I have my eye on. Only complaint? The hipster tax. Why am I paying nearly a $1000 for some thoughtfully molded plastic? Lawd.

> 3 dayIt’s early in the game, but preliminary performance assures me that this vacuum gets the job done. If longevity can match performance, this was a very solid buy. As with everything, time will tell.
