Dyson V15 Detect Cordless Vacuum Cleaner

> 3 dayThis is an expensive vacuum, but well worth it. This is a cordless vacuum that works as well as any corded vacuum Ive ever used. I can easily hold it in one hand. It sucks up huge chunks of stuff, hair, threads, yet never gets tangled. I recently removed a popcorn ceiling, and since I was ripping out the carpet anyway, I was sloppy about covering the floor. There were piles of white dust which I tracked all over the floor. After I vacuumed it, the carpet looked 100% clean. Considering how light this vacuum is, I honestly have no idea how it can be that good, it seems to be based on some type of alien technology.

> 3 dayThis thingy leaves all other vacuum cleaners I owned in last 25 years to literally bite the dust.

> 3 dayThis is the latest model in a long line of DYSON stick vacuums. Every iteration saw one or several improvement. IMHO, this is as good as it gets. The green light - I thought it was a gimmick. It isn’t. You see exactly where the dirt is. This vacuum picks up everything, in one go. It automatically adjusts for wooden floors vs carpeting. The noise level is on the low end. I’m always astonished at the amount of dirt it picks up. Cleaning it, getting rid of the dust is simple and easy. The battery lasts longer than I need. The battery is easy to replace, when its time is up (replacement batteries however are not inexpensive. This vacuum is a pleasure to use and gets the job done faster and better than I imagined. Highly recommended.

> 3 dayI got tired of dealing with the $100-$200 vacuums spraying debris all over the floor while trying to clean it. This guy sucks up everything in front of it and scatters nothing. Not cheap by any means but it works like no other vacuum I previously used. Worth every penny, even if it cost a ton of these pennies

> 3 dayThis is very versatile. It seems to be very handy from the house to the car. The unit is a little large and heavy for me but I will get used to it because it sure beats lugging a upright vacuum. Thank you DYSON!!

18-11-2024What a fabulous purchase this was! Ive had it for a few weeks now and wonder what took me so long to buy a cordless Dyson. My 80-year old husband and I can handle it easily, whether for quick pick-ups or for our routine full-house cleaning. The soft dusting attachment with the extension hose (I purchased separately) make dusting shelves, books, lamps, EVERYTHING, easy and, because Im not just pushing dust around, has been making the house less dusty so my shelves and end tables, etc., stay dust free for days. The variety of attachments and the uniqueness of the ones like the bare floor accessory with the laser, give a multitude of options that can even make cleaning less like work. (I know thats saying a lot about a cleaning device, but I mean every word.) The only complaint I have is not about the vacuum, but the cost I paid from the seller, SHIBO Inc. I ordered through them on Amazon because the Dyson V15 was out of stock on the Dyson site. (They have them now.) The result was that I actually paid $200+ more than I would have paid on other sites. It came on time and was well-packaged, but I do think they price gouged. (Not a pleasant feeling-to feel taken--no matter how high quality the purchased item is. If they had thrown in an extra battery, I would feel better about the price I paid with SHIBO Inc.) At any rate, I am thrilled with the vacuum and will be using it for many years. (It may outlast me. :))

> 3 dayOnly had this vacuum for a few days now. Wife and I share house chores. Im glad we spent the extra money for this model. The laser light feature on the hardwood floor and tile accessory shows everything that the naked eye might miss. No more cuss words after tripping over the electrical cord our previous vacuum had.

> 3 dayIt is a little heavy if using it for more than 15 or 20 minutes. Your finger will go numb pressing the button, but there is an easy solution on Amazon that will hold the button down for you. I found I am emptying it a couple times while vacuuming, but its not been an issue at all. If you hate vacuuming and cleaning, then this vacuum is for you! I have a pretty good corded vacuum but this is much better and because of the suction power I can clean my 2200 sq ft house in 30 - 45 minutes or less since it only require a couple passes to eat up all the dirt, dust, and dog hair. If you are at all worried about the run time, you can just buy an extra battery and problem solved

> 3 dayEasy. Works great. Expensive!! But I hate dragging a cord around so I tend to vacuum way more often with a cordless. I have a less expensive model as well. I was sold on it so I chose to buy the more expensive one. Love it!
