> 24 hourThey are absolutely unscented. Mind you, Im not fond of the scent of poop. But the scent of scented poop is worse. Much worse. Gaggingly worse. Get these, youll be glad you did.

> 24 hourSo, Im outside in the early morning; its 18 degrees, ready to scoop up the waste my dog just deposited on the lawn next to the hotel where we are staying. The layers of the poop bag are stuck together. I take off my gloves - brrr! - and try with bare fingers. No luck! I lick my fingertips to get more grip; success, it seems - but then I realize I have opened up the seam on the side and what was a bag now is a napkin-like sheet of thin, slimy plastic. OK, I think, lets try another. By now my hands - with wet fingertips - are shaking in the cold wind. Alas, the same result - a napkin-like sheet of thin, slimy plastic. Thankfully, I was able to find a blue plastic bag from the New York Times in my coat pocket. Not environmentally sensitive, but at least it works, Oh, yeah - these bags really are thin, If I had gotten one to work, my hand would have quickly been warmed by the steamy poop inside.

> 24 hourIts the second time purchasing. It picks up all the poop at once. Very good. But lately the bags are starting to tear at the opening just when Im about to cover the poop scooper. I lost about 4 bags. Too thin.

> 24 hourGood, strong bags. I got them because I hated the idea of throwing away an organic material in an inorganic bag (which prevents the poop from breaking down). However, as I dont have a compost bin (I anticipated making one) these are just expensive poop bags. I realize that if I just threw them away, they may not receive enough light, water, and oxygen to break down. Instead, I chose another kind of bag [flush puppies] because they are water soluble and are flushable; the bag breaks down in water and the poop is treated at the water treatment plant like all waste. Theyre also pricier than regular plastic bags, but I can usually get a good deal from a different store/site.

> 24 hourI love that these are compostable, I dont like that at least 1/3 of the bags tore. It would have been one thing if the bags had torn at the top, but they tore more towards the bottom of the bag. I tried to tie wear the tear was at the bottom to still be able to utilize the bag - had a huge mess because I have a Golden and her BMs arent usually small. Wanted to like and would have continued to use AND pay the price but not when so many are defective = obvious waste of bag and money. 3 stars for earth-friendly aspect.

> 24 hourI love these!!!!!! These bags are one of the few biodegradable (NO PLASTIC) bags available. Sure you have to be a little more careful with them (thinner) but it is worth it. if you multiply all the dogs x poops x bags = a lot of bags - I care about ecosystems and our own bodies affected by plastic and it is worth the extra money. There is always a price. pay now or pay later. Yay Earth Rated for making these!

> 24 hourThese bags suck. You will stand there for 5 minutes trying to get the bag to open. The sides stick together too much.

> 24 hourNot thick at all. Easy to tear when opening the bag. I’m throwing them away.
