Local pet supply stores carry some Earth Rated brand poop bags made from recycled material, but not these, the compostable ones. Our city organics recycling takes just about everything but animal waste so they must go into the trash bin. I dont want to add to the landfill mess by using non-composting bags. They hold up very well if we have to walk a way with a full one and no scent leaks through when knotted.

Fittest bag we opened ripped. We have s Golden & the bags are not sturdy enough.

These are a great alternative to plastic!!

im sure these are great for dog poop, but dont use them for scooped stuff from litter boxes that does not immediately leave the house in another sealed bag. they will begin to decompose right away. i scoop every day but throw out the 7-days supply once a week. imagine my dismay when the urine and its odor had leaked right through the poop bag a day or two after scooping.

Useful product, better quality than I expected. Also it is environmentally safe. Have already ordered more.

I was looking for a completely plant based poop bags but these are not. Use PET N PET dog poop bags instead!

I feel good about not adding plastic to the environment. And these bags are roomy and easy to open. They work very well.
