> 3 dayIt took me a while to find poop bags that were actually biodegradable and not just compostable. These are one of the most reasonable bags I have found. I typically use one bag for a 2-3 trips out to potty to be frugal and they hold up for multiple uses. I have used them for kitty litter too and found that kitty litter is a bit too heavy to fill it more than half full. They dont hold smell in too well so I definitely have to empty the little garbage by my door just for poop bags often especially in winter but thats a small downside to reduce my plactic use!

> 3 daySadly, I cant recommend these bags in any way. As other reviewers have stated, the bags are quite fragile. Simply removing the paper sticker to open the roll generally tears the first bag. The main problem with the fragility seems to be low tensile strength in the material. Tears along the length of the bag propagate very quickly and with little required force. Apparently the corn based plastic is vastly inferior to plastic in that regard. Bags will tear if youre too rough removing a bag at its perforations. Additionally, static electricity can leave part of the bag stuck to the roll as you unwind one. Since the roll of bags is probably inside of a holder, its not immediately noticeable. This generally results in a bag torn along its length making it unusable. Im aware of the problems and try to be careful, but I still manage to spoil 1-3 bags per roll. One other unpleasant quality of the bags is porousness. If you place your bags right into a trash can, this might not be a problem for you. But in my case, I have a small outside can in which all the dog waste bags are placed. On trash day, I empty this small can into my regular trash can by hand. Ive done this for years with other bags without a problem. But these bags manage to leave the smell (and trace residue, I suppose) on my hands. So far Ive only used them in the winter; I cant imagine what the summer heat and humidity would do to these bags. I had been very satisfied with this companys other traditional bags (the treated plastic w/lavender scent). Id hoped the compostable bags would be a greener option. Unfortunately, I have been very disappointed and will not be buying more.

> 3 dayThese are sturdy bags. They are not as big as grocery bags or other biodegradable bags that I use for my tabletop compost pail. I usually take two bags of these bags with me when I walk my dog. I can usually get away with just using one grocery bag per walk when my dog poops twice. However, this is not the case with these bags. Overall, however, I like these bags because they are biodegradable and thick enough that they are not awkward to use.

> 3 daySeveral times my hand has busted through the bag while trying to pick up my dog’s poop. Also, on a few occasions I have successfully picked up the poop only to have the bag break open and have the poop fall out on our walk home. Please note I have a 12 pound dog who doesn’t take massive dumps. I wanted to be eco friendly and I wanted to like it, but it’s gonna be a hard pass in the future.

> 3 dayThese are great bags. I saw some reviews about the sturdiness but not matter what poop bag you get it’s going to rip if you try to tear it. But that’s not what it’s meant for. It works great and that’s that. Hopefully they decompose like it said but I haven’t watched it lol. Anyways hope this helps.
